I have changed my game - I think that I'm always changing my game. I am always looking for ways to improve myself, grow my business, create more meaningful relationship...essentially, I'm always changing my game because you only live once, and if you don't make every single minute as awesome as possible, well, you're just missing out. When I left the rat race of Corporate America to be a stay at home mom, I changed my game. I left the 8-5 cubicle life behind (along with my 401(k) and rockin' health coverage) for breakfast with my daughter and stress-free afternoons with my family. Then I changed my game again and started my own business - this blog. Well, being the workaholic that I am, my small business quickly began to overtake my life, and while I was still at home with the family, I was working basically 24/7.
Where's the fun in that?
After a long, lazy summer of family trips and afternoons catching up reading, I realized that it was time to change my game again. It was time to cut down on expenses and spend more quality time with the family, and more time just living life and soaking it all in. I've finally found the perfect work-life balance, and if that isn't changing the game, then I don't know what is!
