Life is better in costume, as your little kids are probably telling you each time they want to play dress up. What I love most about Halloween is that it's the only time of year that it's perfectly acceptable for everyone to play dress up - including adults! While we aren't having a Halloween party this year (I missed our family's annual Halloween movie night due to a work trip), Chris and I are absolutely dressing up for our trick-or-treaters and Angeline is going to her first high school Halloween party.  I highly recommend checking out BuyCostumes.com to shop for costumes and costume accessories as well as party supplies for the ultimate Halloween Costume and Party experience!

BuyCostumes has so many pet costumes, it took me a while to select one! I finally decided on the Ghostbusters dog costumes for Bailey and Toby - Foxy is too big to fit into anything...that's the downside to having a giant malamute! Poor little Toby is too fluffy to fit into his costume, so he going to have to wear last year's pumpkin head costume again.

    Doesn't Bailey look adorable?!

The neighborhood kids get a kick out of seeing the dogs all dressed up for Halloween, and I just know that the parents are even going to enjoy seeing Bailey dressed like a Ghostbusters dog!

I browsed through BuyCostumes.com for costume inspiration and ended up settling on Batman costumes for Chris and myself. There are a ton of Batman Costumes, like this Bat Girl T-Shirt Adult Costume Kit I selected. I love how easy and simple it is - I can get dressed up without really dressing up.

The Bat Girl T-Shirt Adult Costume Kit is an officially licensed DC Comics costume, with everything you need to become a superhero for Halloween! It includes a fitted gray t-shirt that is printed with the Bat Girl costume, with an attached cape and even comes with a Batgirl mask!

In case you couldn't tell, the cape is my favorite part of the costume!

I just wore a pair of skinny jeans and black boots and I was ready to go!

Chris and I used to get dressed up in costumes like these when we went to Fantasy Fest, and I like to keep one on hand for a last minute costume. You never know when a Halloween party is going to pop up at the last minute!

I chose the Batman T-Shirt Adult Costume Kit for Chris, but he had to take a last minute trip to South America for work, so he wasn't available to model his costume at the time of this blog post. I'll update with a photo of him once he gets home and has a chance to settle in! It includes the t-shirt with attached cape and a more detailed mask than the Bat Girl mask.

We use to dress our dogs up as kids but I don't think we ever did for Halloween. My mom was Miss Piggy back in the day. She loved dressing up! Me? Not so much.

He's an adorable Ghostbuster Dog! And I love your Bat Girl t-shirt! I'm going to a Halloween party this year and I think I'm going as a cowgirl since I already had everything for it. 🙂

How cute, but I think your costume is cute even with just a few accessories.

These costumes are hilarious AND great. Your pooch looks adorable, and I love your "casual Friday Batgirl" costume. Awesome.

What a fun costume collection!! I wish our dog would behave enough to take him trick or treating too!!! One of these days we'll have to coordinate all of our costumes!

Oh my goodness! The ghostbusters dog costume is SO FLIPPING adorable! We were just at the pet store yesterday looking at dog costumes but I wasn't really impressed with their selection - I'll have to check the website out!

I don't have pets but have always liked to see pets dressed up for Halloween. They have so many costumes out there for dogs. I love your batman costumes.
