JCPenney Back to School Styles are Perfect for Teens!

When I was invited to go check out the JCPenney back to school styles, I was thrilled to take Angeline shopping for much needed back to school essentials with the $200 gift certificate I was provided. Angeline desperately needed new jeans, as she had outgrown all of her jeans from last year! We all know that jeans are often the most expensive part of a teenager's wardrobe, right?

Angeline and I set off to our local JCPenney to go shopping the first week of school, hoping to get a lot of bang for our buck!

As soon as we arrived at JCPenney, I realized I'd come at the perfect time. The JCPenney Back To School sales were in full swing and everywhere we looked, we saw SALE signs - and completely adorable clothes!

Angeline is really into cardigans and sweaters because her high school is freezing cold. I don't know why they maintain such cold temperatures in the classrooms! Angeline is always checking out cardigans and sweaters when we go shopping because they're such an essential part of her wardrobe. As soon as we walked into JCPenney, she saw a table full of cardigans that were on sale!

She bought a pretty cream colored cardigan and a grey and lacy sweater in no time flat.

Of course, cardigans weren't the only things on sale! JCPenney has a huge selection of Arizona brand jeans, and we found so many different styles - all priced at under $30 on sale!

Angeline is really into skinny jeans (what 15 year old isn't right now?) and we found super cute Arizona skinny jeans for just $24.99!

Angeline mostly wore Levis last year, so I kept an eye out for those too. We picked up two pairs of Arizona jeans that she really liked, then headed to the fitting rooms to start trying her stuff on. As I was waiting for her, I noticed a huge display of Levis jeans in the women's department and grabbed a few pairs for her to see as well.

It's a good thing I did, because she loved two pairs of them and we ended up buying those as well. They were on sale for $35 at JCPenney, which is much cheaper than they are where we usually buy them!

I loved that JCPenney has so many different brands of jeans in so many different styles, colors and washes. Since Angeline is required to wear a uniform shirt at her high school (most high schools in Miami do), she really enjoys expressing her personal style through her jeans, shoes and sweaters.

Finding "cool" jeans is super important to her, and JCPenney gave her a ton of options at really affordable prices.

Now, as I mentioned, I had a $200 gift certificate to do our JCPenney back to school shopping. I knew that the majority of our shopping would be for jeans, but Angeline also wanted to make sure that we bought some new sweaters and a few tops for going out after school.

With teenagers these days, back to school doesn't just mean new clothes for school - it also means that they want a new wardrobe for their social life! I told her that once we bought the necessary jeans and sweaters for school, she could pick up a few things for going out with friends on the weekends. As we made our way into the JCPenney Juniors department, I realized that it was going to be pretty easy to get her everything she wanted. JC Penney had cute tops on clearance for just $5.99! One of the tops she picked out was even priced at $2.99!

JCPenney must know that kids love to accessorize because we also found a ton of accessories on sale! We found all kinds of jewelry and hair accessories too! You really can't go wrong with 30% off Arizona fashion jewelry, right?

Angeline loved doing her back to school shopping at JCPenney, and I loved being able to get so many items with our gift card!

We bought two pairs of Arizon jeans, two pairs of Levis, a sweater, a cardigan, two tops and a pair of shorts for $180!
