It is better to give than to receive...Sometimes! #jcpSecretSanta

Right before Christmas, I told you about a Secret Santa gift that I purchased from JC Penney for another blogger, and that I would receive one as well...I had so much fun selecting a gift for my Secret Santa! I just love gift-giving, it excites me just as much as receiving!

First, let's see the gift I picked out for my Secret Santa recipient! My recipient was Lisa from InsignificantatBest and she gave hints that she liked red handbags and even went so far as to name a few that she had her eye on...I really hope she liked the handbag I picked out for her, it was on her list! I had a budget of $50 and JC Penney did not disappoint with gift options in my price range!

The Mondani Mott Tote was priced at $48.99, so it was perfect! There were a ton of gift ideas from JC Penney and I had to make a mental note that I was shopping for my Secret Santa, not myself...

I didn't give my own Secret Santa a lot of choices because honestly, I just really love being surprised. Jamie from BlondeMomBlog was my Secret Santa and she sent me the loveliest serving dish! Included in my package was this nifty little JC Penney Secret Santa Tag with a message from Jamie...

I really had fun recording my own message for my Secret Santa, Lisa, using the JC Penney Secret Santa Tag. It was my first time using a QR reader for something like that and I was surprised at how easily it worked!

Jamie did a knock out job of picking the perfect gift for me! Because I love to entertain, she sent me this elegant serving dish, which I just love!

Of course I've already used it...I was so excited to put it to use, and having received it just in time for Christmas, I put it to good use displaying the cookies I had baked for Christmas for my family!

I had so much fun participating in this Secret Santa gift exchange through JC Penney. While I already shop there on occasion, I never realized how much their online store has to offer - especially during the holiday season!

I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of jcpenney and received a jcpenney Secret Santa gift and a promotional item to thank me for participating.

I like the purse you chose. I don't have a ton of company so the dish wouldn't have gotten much use at my house, but I'm glad it works for you. Secret Santas are fun!

Playing Secret Santa is always so much fun! I have been shopping online at JCP for years and their selection never disappoints me.

Oh wow I love the serving dish you got! Very cool!

Also, thank you so much for the awesome purse! I love, love, love it! 🙂 Sorry it took me so long to thank you, but I've been down and out for 2 weeks now with bronchitis. Again, thank you so much!
