People who know the taste of good, natural foods soon come to realize that vegan organic salads are the gold standard for healthful eating. The beauty of salads is that, properly prepared, they can be meals in themselves and offer up a full batch of daily vitamins and other nutrients. What’s one of the most popular organic vegan salads these days? A quick trip around the Internet reveals the answer: it’s an all-organic, vegan-friendly mozzarella salad. There’s even a sort of double bonus with this amazing bit of culinary heaven. It’s easy to prepare and tastes so good you’ll wonder why you never tried it before.

Get Ready

For the recipe, make a list of any items you don’t already have at home, and make sure everything is organic. Here’s the list of what you’ll need:

– At least a pound of vegan mozzarella. Miyoko’s mozzarella is one of the best to use for this salad.
– One cup of pitted olives
– One medium-sized cucumber
– One-quarter cup of chopped onion
– 12 ounces of grape tomatoes
– One-quarter cup of extra virgin olive oil
– Ten basil leaves
– Sea salt and ground black pepper

Note: Remember to use only organic ingredients. All the above items are naturally vegan, so you won’t need your food detective skills for that part of the job. Finally, to deliver a super boost of flavor, try your best to use ingredients that are as fresh as possible. Now, we’re ready to get to work.

Drain the olives. Slice the cucumber lengthwise into several pieces. Slice the basil leaves into small fragments. The onion should be finely chopped. Rinse and dry the grape tomatoes. Form the mozzarella into small balls with your fingers.

Let’s Make an Amazing Salad

Finally, the three steps to completion:

1. Put the tomato, basil, olive oil, onion, cucumber, mozzarella and olives into a large bowl.
2. Mix everything together and let it stand for about one minute.
3. Add a little salt and pepper before serving.

The entire preparation job for this 8-serving salad takes about 10 minutes once you gather together everything you need.

What’s in It?

Here is the best part of the story for this fantastic salad. Each serving contains 4 grams of protein, 4 grams of carbs, 1 gram of fiber, 24 grams of fat and 271 calories. This mozzarella salad is very close to being a standard Caprese but has a few minor differences. The all-vegan, all-organic, all-fresh concept is one of the things that makes it taste so great. You can use the salad as a small meal or snack any time of the day or pair it with a full vegan-organic meal of your choice. It works extremely well with all sorts of pasta dishes. If you’re a wine drinker, consider a rose or crisp white wine of your choice. Rich in both antioxidants and calcium, the organic vegan mozzarella salad is one of the best tasting and most nutritious salads around. Try it once and you’ll be hooked.
