Home Remodeling Projects are More Affordable With Floor and Decor!

While I was cleaning my bathroom in preparation for Angeline's birthday party last weekend, I found something shocking!

I thought that the grout on our bathroom floor was really dirty, and brought out the bleach to clean it. When I got down on my knees to start scrubbing, I realized that there was hardly any grout left between the tiles, and what I was seeing was actually the cement beneath the tiles. It finally made sense to me why the bathroom floor always looked dirty, no matter how much I cleaned it! We have been wanting to remodel our bathroom for a long time, but between the permitting fees, the contractor labor and the materials, it is just so expensive!

On top of the bathroom remodel that we are saving up for, we also need to redo the flooring in the master bedroom and my daughter's room. We have already removed the carpeting and tile from the living room, dining room, kitchen, hallway and one of the bedrooms and installed wood laminate. That was our last big home remodel project, and we took a break before starting the next project because we were so busy traveling this summer.

We realized with the last room that we remodeled that buying our supplies at some of the major home hardware stores just wasn't a great option for us. We have so many projects to do that we simply can't afford to pay full manufacturer's retail price when we redo the flooring in the bedrooms and remodel our bathroom.

That's where Floor and Decor comes in!

Floor and Decor has a location only about 15 minutes away from us and has some really great Low price flooring as well as a ton of other flooring options!

I took a quick look around their website and found wood laminate flooring - what I want to put into our bedrooms once we rip the carpets out - in all shades, starting at just 49 cents a square foot! That is an amazing deal, considering that we paid $1.29 a square foot for the wood laminate that we put in the rest of the house. The color I want in our bedrooms is only 59 cents a square foot.

It looks like we are going to be able to redo our flooring sooner than we thought, thanks to the great prices at Floor and Decor! My husband will stop traveling for work after the end of November, so we hope to have at least one of the bedrooms done in December.

Of course, Floor and Decor has a variety of flooring options. You can really find almost anything you are looking for at a low price; including Porcelain, ceramic, stone, tile, wood and laminate! I found some great options online for making over my bathroom, and I can't wait to actually get down to the outlet to see their options in person. I hope to find tiles not only for the bathroom, but maybe to add to the back splash in my kitchen and also to tile the front and back porches. If we can save money on each project, that means that we can do more projects!

Now...if I really had my way, we would just rip up all of the current flooring throughout the house and lay down hardwood. I saw that Floor and Decor has the Best selection in hardwood, but with 1500 square feet to take care of, I think I might need to save up for a while before we do that! Ha!

You can learn more about all of the options available at the Floor & Decor website, check and see if there is an outlet near you!

I'm glad you caught that. I just replaced all the tile in my bathroom right before I moved. Bummer!

There is one of these stores in our area. I've never been in it, but when we are ready to make some changes, we will have to check it out.

We have wood laminate in almost every room and I love, love, love it! That's crazy about the grout being so worn out in your bathroom- I didn't even realize it could do that!

What a great deal. Flooring can get so expensive. I can say I've had some trouble installing the stuff though. It's not as easy as legos.

The flooring and upstairs bath are what we have left in our remodeling projects. I'll have to remember this place. Looks like great prices with a huge selection of flooring!

Some people might be surprised by this, but the price of flooring has actually gone down in recent years.
Thought some might see it as a long and grueling project, adding new flooring to a home or room can definitely add new elements to a home. Best of luck on the new project, Jenn!

Doing floor project for your house is a great idea. It looks very appealing to the eyes. Because this cost less if you try this on your next remodeling project. Make sure to decorate your house on what trend on the internet making your home beautiful as always.
