This post and corresponding social media posts contains content sponsored by Seed. The opinions expressed in TheRebelChick.com are my own.

One of the new products I was introduced to in 2020 was a new-to-me daily probiotic, the Seed Daily Synbiotic. I've been taking Seed Daily Synbiotic for almost two months now, so today we are talking about how to Hold Yourself #Accountable for your Wellbeing with Seed Daily Synbiotic!

If the absolutely horrific events of 2020 taught me anything at all, it was that I really need to make my health and overall wellness a priority in life. As many of my longtime readers know, I was struggling with some liver issues in 2018-2019, and spent most of 2019-2020 making a lot of lifestyle changes angled to help me return to optimal health.

I know that we have all been hearing about probiotics for years now...I think that I personally have been taking them for at least a decade...when I remember to take them. My daughter, Angeline, has been taking them for years as well, as she has a lot of digestive issues. Probiotics are just one of those things that are really easy to fit into your routine and can really help make a difference in your overall digestive health - which if you have ever had issues with your digestive system, you know exactly what I am talking about.

Part of the side effects of my liver not being in optimum health was that my digestive system was totally out of whack. Bloating, diarrhea, indigestion - I dealt with those uncomfortable and oftentimes painful issues for quite some time before I remembered...PROBIOTICS!

There are so many reasons why we should be taking probiotics! Not just me for my liver issues, but everyone who wants to keep their body running at optimal performance.

    A Few Benefits of Probiotics

    • Help your body digest food.
    • Keep bad bacteria from getting out of control and making you sick.
    • Create vitamins.
    • Help support the cells that line your gut to prevent bad bacteria that you may have consumed (through food or drinks) from entering your blood.
    • Breakdown and absorb medications.

What Makes Seed Daily Synbiotic different than all of the other probiotics you've seen and tried over the years?

There are so many health and wellness brands out there with a multitude of products that all but promise to fix everything that is wrong with you...but they rarely have the science to back up their claims. The Seed Daily Synbiotic was developed for systemic benefits beyond just your regular digestive health, being the first in a pipeline of clinically-studied, next-generation products.

It has a 24 DNA verified human-based probiotic bacterial strains with a prebiotic and a strong capsule that can get bacteria all the way to your gut, and it is biofermented in Europe and actually certified under the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). That means that they can sell in Europe and everything they are stating is backed by science - and all strains are based on microbiome research from NIH, which means they can make legal claims about a plethora of things the probiotic can do! Seed Daily Synbiotic is vegan and free of all 14 allergen classes.

"Beneficial microbes can play a systems-wide role in human health alongside diet, exercise, and lifestyle. Our Daily Synbiotic reflects a commitment to reclaim the term ‘probiotics’ for science and to establish a new standard."

Dr. Gregor Reid, PhD, MBA, Chief Scientist, Chair, United Nations - World Health Organization Expert Panel that authored the definition of 'probiotics'

Why Should I take Seed Daily Synbiotic?

Probiotics are made up of good bacteria that helps keep your body healthy and working well. This good bacteria helps you in many ways, including fighting off bad bacteria when you have too much of it, helping you feel better. Probiotics are part of a larger picture concerning bacteria and your body — your microbiome.

This probiotic helps with digestive health, including heart health, skin health, gut immune function, reproductive health, gut barrier integrity, and oxidative stress. The daily Synbiotic also increases folate production from within the body, which is great for pregnancy if you are currently trying to get pregnant or if you are already expecting! Seed Daily Synbiotic includes the probiotic and prebiotic in separate portions of the capsule so that they actually dissolve and enter your gut at different times during transit “Synbiotic” simply means that you are ingesting a probiotic that has 24 clinically studied, naturally-occurring strains not found in yogurt or fermented foods and beverages, as well as a prebiotic.

If you aren't familiar with Prebiotics, they support the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut, both probiotics and your own existing microbiota. You can absorb prebiotics through vegetables and plant foods naturally occurring in your daily diet, but let's get real - most of us don't have a health enough diet to get all of the vitamins and nutrients we need to be in optimal health.

The Health Benefits of Taking Seed Daily Synbiotic

Gastrointestinal Health - Supports digestive health to maintain regularity, ease bloating, and can alleviate occasional constipation. Supports digestive health - Helps maintain healthy gut barrier function.

Gut Barrier Integrity - Supports healthy gut immune function and cross talk between immune and intestinal cells.

Gut Immune Function - Supports healthy immunological responses in the gastrointestinal tract. Increases production of short-chain fatty acids.

Cardiovascular Health - Promotes heart health. Helps maintain blood cholesterol levels already in the normal range. Supports healthy intestinal recycling of cholesterol and bile.

Dermatological Health - Promotes healthy skin.

Micronutrient Synthesis - Supports folate (vitamin B9) production via intestinal synthesis of bioactive forms of folate.

Two Months After Starting Seed Daily Synbiotic

Now, I have been taking a ton of supplements and vitamins for the last two years in order to try to get myself healthy, so it wasn't anything NEW to begin taking Seed Daily Synbiotic. However, I have found that since I began taking it, I have had to take less things for my indigestion, and my entire digestive process has....um, improved? With my liver issues, I dealt with so many stomach issues, bloating, indigestion, acid reflux, and almost daily diarrhea. These were symptoms of my liver being in bad health, so the only thing I could really do was manage the symptoms as well as I could while I waited for my liver to heal.

How do I talk about poop on my blog? HA HA!

I have dealt with a lot of digestive issues over the last two years as I was dealing with some liver issues, and the Seed Daily Synbiotic actually improved that issue so much that I no longer need any of the supplements and OTC meds I used to take, and I no longer need to drink Dandelion tea each day to help with my digestive issues.

Yes, Seed Daily Synbiotic seems to have actually fixed my digestive issues 100%. I cancelled my Dandelion tea subscription on Amazon.

I am also finding that I just feel better, in general. I have never been a big caffeine connoisseur - I own a Keurig but I have no idea where it is in the house, to show you how often I drink coffee - but for the better part of the last year, I have been drinking iced coffees a few times a week because I was struggling so much with a bad sleep schedule and daytime fatigue. I have found that I just feel more awake and alert without the coffee since I have begun taking Seed Daily Synbiotic.
