I've been fascinated by the internet from the first time it was introduced into my life. It was so fun talking with people around the world in chat rooms and checking to see if I had this new thing called "email". These days the internet is so ingrained into our lives that we hardly give it a second thought. That is...until it's running slowly or isn't working altogether. Who can blame us? Slow internet interferes with school, work, and play. I work from home and internet is absolutely vital to the success of my business; I was reminded of this while recently traveling in the Bahamas when I found myself on an island with NO WiFi. Luckily there are services provided by Xfinity to combat dreaded slow internet and keep us moving at the lightning speed of technology.

Sure, it's nice to get away and relax without being constantly tethered...but there's a time and a place for everything! I prefer that it be MY CHOICE when I am offline, not just because I'm at the mercy of a bad WiFi connection.

It's normal these days to have multiple devices connected to our in-home WiFi. I'll often be working on my laptop, checking emails and social media on my phone - all while my family is also checking their emails, doing homework, or streaming television and movies on their computers, tablets and phones.

It's very important that we maintain a high speed and have enough bandwidth to enable us all to accomplish everything we need to get done.

    I like this tip - No need for a fancy serving platter for the Big Game this weekend. All you need is a bowl and a glass. Just place the glass in the middle of the bowl, fill the glass with salsa and surround it with chips and voila: makeshift dip display!
