Hey, Dogs Like Pizza Too!

Angeline had a friend spend the night last night and what did they want for dinner?

Pizza.

Of course.

But apparently, they weren’t the only ones in the mood for pizza last night.

I laid the pizza on the stove top while I waited for the oven to preheat and went to ask the kids if they wanted salads with dinner…

This is what I found when I came back, not even 3 minutes later.

Do you notice anything peculiar?

Foxy looks like she is all innocent, right?

WRONG.

Apparently, Foxy decided to taste test the 5 cheese pizza!

She is a pretty smart dog, right? Instead of pulling down the entire pizza and going to town on it, she ate what was hanging over the edge of the stove…maybe she thought I wouldn’t notice!

Now, the kids were starving and let’s face it, if you’re serving a pizza for dinner, it’s highly probably that you aren’t in the mood to cook in the first place. So I did what any smart mama would do.

I cut off the bitten part.

You might call it ghetto…I call it “not wasting an entire pizza.”

Bahahaha!! That is so great! I totally would have cut off the bitten part too. No sense in wasting a perfectly good pizza. 🙂

Oh, my dog would be in soooo much trouble. My German Shepherd would never do it, but the sneaky Redbone Coonhound we had, now she would have stolen the whole damn pizza then gave you the hound dawg eyes, so she wouldn’t get her butt kicked.

I’m so surprised she managed to take a nibble without toppling the whole pizza!

lol Foxy is crafty and shows much will power, my dogs would have destroyed the entire thing and blamed it on the cats.
