Like most ten year old girls, my niece Katarina is obsessed with Disney Princesses and the Monster High toys. She's been asking for the Mattel Monster High Create a Monster Design Lab and I am going to give it to her as one of her Christmas gifts this year!

Monster High is so popular right now, and this new toy is a really unique way for girls to create their very own Monster High Doll, exactly how they want her!

Mattel Monster High Create a Monster Design Lab Features:

    • Build your own freaky fabulous Monster High Doll
    • Includes a torso, set of limbs, a head and a dress, wig and hairbrush
    • Place the monster parts in the lab and apply your desired skin
    • Includes a ton of decals for modification
    • Recommended for ages 6-15 years
    • 3 AG13 batteries are included

I opened Katarina's Monster High Create a Monster Design Lab to check it out for myself and it was really cool! There are so many different faces - complete with make up - that you can really make any kind of Monster High doll you want!

The pieces fit together relatively easily, so even a young girl could put it together herself. The instructions are included but you don't really need them, everything is pretty self-explanatory. I didn't even open the instruction manual and I figured out how to put the doll together!

    More from the manufacturer:

The Mattel Monster High Create A Monster Design Lab comes with over a hundred tattoos with a variety of fabulously, spooky and gore-geous designs to apply to the included Monster High doll. Fill the lab up with water and pick the face or body tattoos to apply. All you need to do is pump and press the lever to create your monster. The lights of the skull light up to show that the Design Lab is working.

The included Monster High doll's head, torso, and limbs can all be pulled apart and put back together. The body parts fit easily in the Lab. The doll comes with removable colored wig and stylish dress.

After you're done creating your monster, pack up all the components in the Design Lab's coffin-style case for easy storage and mobility. The pull-out drawer stores the tattoos, and the case also includes a lock to keep things secure.

Don't worry about making a mess with the Monster Design Lab. Even though the lab uses water to apply the tattoos, it's been designed to be mess-free. Any extra water drips into the built-in reservoir.

There are also Monster High Create a Monster Design Lab Add on Packs!

You can purchase the Mattel Monster High Create a Monster Design Lab at most retailers for a MSRP of $39.99 or buy on Amazon for $34.99!

I received the Mattel Monster High Create a Monster Design Lab as a promotional item and all opinions are my own. Links to purchase the item on Amazon contain affiliate links.
