Getting my Pretty on with the gloMinerals gloShimmer Brick!

Once upon a time, I read somewhere that frequent sex helps keep your looking young.

What?!

Really?

Has this writer ever seen Warren Beatty?

If you don’t know who Warren Beatty is, then you are too young to care about looking like an old hag anyway, so I hate you.

Anyway.

For those of us that live in that sad place called reality, there are a few tricks out there for looking like a spring chicken instead of a fat old hen.

Like makeup.

Lots and lots of makeup.

Specifically, this awesome new thing that I learned about a few months ago called highlighter.

No, stop thinking about those fluorescent yellow markers.

I’m talking about that mixture of pearly iridescent powder, blush and bronzer…or as I like to call it, “goddess in a compact.”

I recently received a new highlighter from GloMinerals called the GloShimmer Brick (I tried the Luster shade).

Instant L O V E. I just dab a little on my blush brush and sweep it across my cheeks, bridge of my nose and forehead and viola – gorgeous!

I know. I look like I’m topless in this photo, but I swear that I had my bikini on. My hair happens to be covering my bikini top!

I love the way this highlighter just makes me glow. You see, GloMinerals uses natural, high pigment minerals that illuminate your skin. It’s that simple. It catches the light and reflects it off your skin to create that pretty glow.

It’s so easy to use, you can’t “mess it up.” You just swirl the four shades in the compact together and brush over your skin for all over brightening, or for subtle highlights, choose one shade and lightly apply to the area.

Shimmer Brick comes in two different colors – the Luster that I am using, or the Gleam, which is a bit more colorful. I think it would work better with a more peaches and cream type complexion. They are priced at $32.50 and I think that is a bargain! You can purchase the GloMinerals GloShimmer Bricks at GloProfessional.com.

 * While I received a media sample, all opinions are 100% my own.
