This is a sponsored post for SheSpeak/P&G, however all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Everyone has their own game day routine and traditions. Some people wear the same article of clothing for every game. Some people make the same dishes for their tailgating. Angeline and I? Our game day routine is more about looking good than lucky socks. Hey, we'll leave the over-worn clothes and lucky hats to everyone else. A girl has to look good when she's out and about, or at home entertaining the sports fanatics!
Game Day Beauty Blast
Anyone who knows me will tell you I'm not vain. Don't get the wrong idea. The thing is, when I go out into the world, I want to look good. That holds true even when I'm going to be at a stadium screaming at the top of my lungs. To be sure that I always look my best before I become an ant in a milling mass, I have a routine that I always follow, and I get all my game day beauty supplies from Walmart.
Getting Squeaky Clean
First things first, I need to be clean. I like to use a nice, moisturizing body wash and use Head & Shoulders Classic Clean Shampoo. It's the dandruff shampoo most recommended by dermatologists. It keeps me from having a dry, itchy scalp, and it's made to be used with all hair types - even colored hair. Angeline and I actually use it even without having dandruff because it makes our hair SO SHINY!
Shiny hair = gorgeous, healthy-looking hair!
Keeping That Skin Smooth
To keep my legs and under arms ready for game day, I use the Gilette Venus Swirl Razor. It has FlexiBall technology and five individually adjusting contour razor blades that help me avoid a death by 1,000 cuts when I hit my ankles and knees. It's water activated MoistureGlide serum gives me a smooth shave, and the MicroFine comb guides hair to the blades. Angeline has this thing about not sharing razors, so of course she has her own. When I received the box of supplies for this blog post, she DMd me on Instagram to show me that she claimed the new razor. Yes, this is what my life has resorted to...
Take Care of the Teeth
I use my Oral B Vitality electric toothbrush along with Crest Prohealth Advanced toothpaste to keep my mouth fresh and my teeth clean. My Vitality toothbrush really gets into all the cracks and crevices with its MicroPulse bristles, and Prohealth keeps my teetch clean and healthy.
Make Those Eyes Pop
I don't wear a ton of makeup, but one thing I always wear is eyeliner and mascara. Just before I head out to the tailgate prrgame extravaganza, I get my lashes all set for game day with COVERGIRL LashBlast Mascara.
I use Fusion, one of three varieties.
- Volume - 100% more volume. Covergirl's biggest brush ever.
- Clump Crusher - 200% more volume. No clumping. Double-sided brush.
- Fusion - My favorite. 100% more volume and length. Fuller, more dramatic lashes. Oversized brush.
Getting Game Day Ready is Easy with Walmart
I love to tailgate and watch an exciting football game. When I'm in the parking lot or in the stadium, I'm all about the game. My game day tradition is getting myself all prettied up so I can yell and scream like a trucker. LOL. And to help me get all pretty before I go out and behave badly, I get all my game day products from Walmart. They have everything I need at the best prices.
Walmart has everything you need to keep your #GameDayTraditions going. What are your game day traditions? I'd love to hear about them!
