To celebrate National Pet Month, Purina wants to see how we celebrate our beloved pets by starting a new trend...PET PRAISING! You can think of it as positive reinforcement, instead of focusing on humorous misbehavior, like pet shaming posts do, pet praising highlights all the awesome ways pets enhance our lives through everything they do for us, as well as the positive aspects of pet ownership. I love this positive spin on the silly things animals do, so of course I had to get involved!
Of course, we all have those moments of frustration and dare I say...annoyance...with our pets. Just like any member of the family, they can do things to drive us crazy! But at the end of day, these little furry family members bring so much love into my life, and now that Angeline has moved out on her own, it's literally JUST US. Me, three cats and two dogs.
Two very lovable little dogs!
There's a Purina Pet Praising Sweepstakes!
Purina is inviting pet owners to share their #PetPraising on Pure Love for Pets. Every pet praising photo submitted through the website from April 26th to May 24th has a chance to win the Pet Praising sweepstakes. The winner and their pet will participate in a professional photo shoot, which will be featured on Real Simple.
The website also is a great resource for celebrating National Pet Month and learning about all the great new items Purina has to offer!

Oh gosh how cute is that! I would love to win a photo shoot for my doggy, Jenny the Pug may be a great photo doggy. She is often giving some strange looks, so I think her photo shoot would be comical! Thanks for sharing, good luck to all who enter to win!

This is such a fun campaign! I say things to our dog such as - you're the best dog on earth - and - I love you so much. My husband and kids laugh at me, but I know hearing those things makes him feel extra loved and appreciated.
