Being a homeowner is a tough job. So many people complain about their mortgage and homeowners insurance payment each month…but that is really just where the headache begins! Between repairs and maintenance and home improvement projects, the details of you home ownership can be a total beast to keep under control. Fortunately, I am learning to tame that wild beast with HomeZada.com! HomeZada is an online and mobile software that allows you to organize and manage your home! It is essentially an online filing cabinet combined with an accountant and calendar – it’s one simple place to keep track of your household inventory, home maintenance and improvements, as well as home value and expenses.

Seriously, they have it all covered!

The Way HomeZada Works

The first thing you do when signing up for a free Essentials membership on HomeZada.com is complete your digital home profile.

HomeZada Digital Home Profile

Once your profile is set up, you’re ready to go! You can start using HomeZada to manage things such as:

Home Finances – The HomeZada digital home profile provides you with complete financial visibility of your home. You can use it to manage and track all of your home values, household expenses, home inventory values, home maintenance costs – even the budgets and costs for home renovation projects.

Home Inventory – This allows you to track all of your fixed assets, like equipment, appliances, fixtures, and building materials. You can also track your possessions like furniture, electronics, collectibles, and household items in case you ever need a comprehensive list for an insurance claim.

Home Maintenance – One of the most important parts of your digital home profile is the property maintenance calendar. It includes all of your monthly and seasonal checklists that you need to pay attention to so that your home continues to run efficiently!

Home Improvement Projects – HomeZada even has a library of home improvement projects that you can use for inspiration, and you can create a wish list of remodel, decorative and landscape projects! Once you begin a home improvement project, HomeZada can help you keep track of comparisons when shopping for materials, create timelines for your projects and keep track of budgets and expenses!

One of the best parts of the HomeZada membership is that everything is stored on the cloud, not on your actual computer. So even if you have a technical glitch, you still have all of this valuable information saved!

That’s a really great idea and resource. I especially like the estate planning part and the moving part (which would have been so helpful a few times in my life). Thanks for sharing…will check it out more.

Speaking of homes..I bought mine four years ago and just discovered last night that they want to put up a casino less than a mile away…sad day. I want to move.

What a useful app! We could really use a realistic outline of all our expenses. Pretty sure we are in denial most of the time. Definitely getting this.

It is so important to keep track of what you have but unfortunately life gets busy and we put these kind of things off. Of course if a disaster does happen we would be frantically trying to remember what needed to be replaced. This is something that would come in handy.

This is neat. We own our home and I agree it is important to know all of this for sure and to stay on top of things!

This really checks a lot of boxes. The home inventory aspect of it is something I haven’t seen before and sounds very useful.

Such a great resource. We own a house in Portland…and it can get to stressful trying to keep track of every expense, specially when you are 6 hours aways from it! This app could be a life saver!

This looks like a great idea! Especially for those of us who don’t have stellar *coughcough* organizational skills maybe sometimes. There’s so MUCH to keep track of with a house and kids and vehicles!
