Get Creative with Tyson Chicken Nuggets During the Holidays! #MealsTogether

You know how everyone goes crazy decorating cookies over the holidays? Well, there’s something else that is just as much fun to decorate, and sometimes even more fun to eat – because you can literally eat it for dinner!

I’m talking about Tyson chicken nuggets!

I headed to Sam’s Club and bought a large bag of Tyson chicken nuggets for just under $9, which is a steal compared to the prices at my local grocery stores! You can read more about my shopping trip in this Google+ story.

I also found this awesome salsa after trying it on a bagel crisp at a demo. On my diet, I am very limited in what I can eat, and salsa happens to be one of my acceptable foods!

The first thing I did when I got home was to lay out all of my supplies.

I cooked a few of the Tyson chicken nuggets and grabbed my condiments for dipping and a bag of cut up veggies to compliment the chicken nuggets – every meal needs veggies!

It is really easy to cook the Tyson chicken nuggets, you can even microwave them! You just cook them in the microwave for 2 to 2.5 minutes. This is great for us moms, as the kids can make their own afternoon snack if they are old enough!

Our first Tyson chicken nugget creation was a Tyson Chicken Nugget Tree.

I stacked five chicken nuggets and inserted a tooth pick into the center to keep them stable and started adding veggies around the base of the tree to serve as presents.

Then I covered the top of the toothpick with ketchup.

I added lots of chopped up broccoli, cauliflower and baby carrots around the base and that also helped make the tree more stable.

I think that this Tyson chicken nugget tree came out really adorable, don’t you? Angeline ate it up as her late lunch.

I also made this less-complicated Tyson chicken nugget snowman, which would be a great little lunchtime project for the little kids!

Doesn’t he look adorable and delicious?

He has just a simple tab of Ranch dressing as his face and buttons, and ketchup and a piece of cauliflower as his hat. I added two baby carrots as arms and a bit of Ranch dressing as the snow he is standing in.

So cute and fun!
