Ah...true love. It's something that we dream of as little girls, and most likely...we never stop. When Angeline began dating and fell in love for the first time, it was absolutely terrifying. My little girl, grown up enough to fall in love.
I remember my first love. We're friends on Facebook. Ha!
Falling in love is fun and easy and it's a whirlwind unlike any other - and as much as we think it will only happen once, they great thing about life is that it presents many opportunities to fall in love. As I am going through a divorce right now, one of the things that helped me heal after my separation from my almost-ex-husband is that I am so looking forward to falling in love again. Oh, the excitement of that first kiss, the fluttering of butterflies in your stomach, the greedy anticipation of seeing the person you're in love with...
Love is a beautiful thing.
I want my little girl - okay, my not so little girl - to be in love!
While I am not encouraging her to run off and get married and start having babies right away, I am happy seeing her being in love and happy.
Once I let go of the "You're TOO YOUNG to feel those feelings!!!" mentality, I realized how sweet it all was - and how happy my little girl was.
