Experience the New Microsoft Store in Dadeland Mall in Miami #MicrosoftFL

Earlier this month, Miami got it's first Microsoft Store in Dadeland Mall! As I was out of town for the grand opening, I sent my cousin and tech guru, Nick, to check it out for me!

Upon arriving to the Microsoft Store, we were the first to arrive and were greeted by the employees and staff of the Windows Store.

Lacretia, who had put this private event together, was able to give myself and my friend Mayara (who was representing another blog) a private tour until everyone arrived.

As we were given the tour I was able to ask a few questions about the products and services the store had to offer and what differences you can expect from the store compared to the Apple store which is also located in Dadeland Mall. The first question I was able to ask was, "What products will you offer?"

The Microsoft Store in Dadeland Mall in Miami will offer a variety of different products.

While going through each section of the store you can see that store was laid out and divided by the Accessories, Cell Phones, Tablets, Laptops and so forth.

The Microsoft Store in Dadeland Mall has a variety of different products each with their own uniqueness.

Products ranging from the Lumia 920 to the Surface Pro are awesome products that you can expect to use and buy.

Something that really caught my attention in the Microsoft Store in Dadeland Mall were Windows 8’s phone OS.

Windows Phone 8 brings loads of features to the table that differs from iOS and Android. As an Android user I found that some of the features Windows Phone 8 has would be beneficial to my everyday needs. With the speed, simple but quick to use features Windows phone 8 has a lot to offer to the consumers.

On a side note the one lacking feature that I found to be a problem for a user like myself would be the fact that there is no instagram.

One other product that stood out the most to me was the Surface. I fell in love with it and the experience I had while doing so.

Out of all the products that I was able to see and play with Surface stood out the most to me. As a person who is tech savvy, Surface blew my mind.

Even though the device has been out for quite some time now I never bothered to pay much attention to it due to the fact that I have an Apple iPad 2. But wow, I am missing out. This completely blows my iPad out of the water. You can find the differences between the RT and Pro here on Microsoft.

I believe that the windows store will have good competition towards the apple store. Just from the layout of the store itself is amazing - its definitely a store you need to check out.

What services can you expect to find at the Microsoft store?

The Microsoft Store has many different services, including tech support from all categories.

Now for all the gamers out there, the Microsoft Store brings this category of the store to life. As you enter the store to your right you will notice there is a set up for you to play games that involve Microsofts Xbox Kinect. With Kinect, you can use your hands as a remote and your body as a controller.  Kinect takes the laziness away from gaming and entertainment and gives the user the ability to dance, work out and play games! Children can also play games made for their age.

When you reach the gaming section of the store you will find that you are able to play the latest and greatest game on a Xbox 360 but you will also find that you are able to use the wall as a monitor for gaming. Microsoft Store also holds gaming competitions within the store itself!

After the tour of the store we were given a goodie bag that had two concert tickets for Gym Class Heroes and Lupe Fiasco day after, two cookies, a 25$ gift card, and a shirt.

The experience was amazing and Microsoft blew my mind away. I want to thank them for giving me the chance to meet and see such a great store!
