Enjoy the Caribbean Wherever you are at the Bahama Breeze Viva La Rita Celebration

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Bahama Breeze. All opinions are 100% mine.

Bahama Breeze just kicked off the Bahama Breeze Viva La Rita celebration last month with brand new margaritas on National Margarita Day, but the celebration is nowhere near over! The Bahama Breeze Viva La Rita celebrationn will be in full swing through Cinco De Mayo (May 5th), with Friday Night Parties with live music on the patio, delicious signature margaritas and really fun giveaways! Speaking of giveaways, Mr. David Holder won my $100 Bahama Breeze gift card from my last post! Big CONGRATS, David!

    Bahama Breeze 4

The Bahama Breeze Viva La Rita celebration began Sunday, February 22 with four delicious margaritas served at Bahama Breeze locations nationwide but the party is going strong through Cinco De Mayo, on May 5th, so don't worry if you missed the initial celebration! It’s always a party at Bahama Breeze, but during the #VivaLaRita celebration, it’s REALLY a party!

Chris and I went to our local Bahama Breeze to enjoy the celebration for ourselves, and we had a great time. Well, to be fair, we always have a great time at Bahama Breeze. It's like a little slice of the Caribbean in our own backyard...and you don't need a passport to get in!

    Bahama Breeze 2

Now, Bahama Breeze has a lot going for them, but what really makes it a great place to have a drink or dinner is their tropical vibe. You know those fancy cocktails you get while on vacation in the Caribbean? Yep, you guessed it - they're all right there at Bahama Breeze! They have fantastic signature cocktails year-round, but special signature drinks are available during the Viva La Rita celebration!

    Bahama Breeze 3

I ordered the Bahamarita last week while Chris and I were there. OH MY GOODNESS. It was so good! melon, citrus, and a cactus liquor shooter?

    It was pretty much perfect!

    Bahama Breeze 1

It went perfectly with the jerk chicken pasta I ordered...to be honest, this is what I usually order. It's my favorite dish at Bahama Breeze!

A little jerk spice, tender chicken, yummy bow tie pasta with a creamy sauce and mushrooms and asparagus - what's not to love? The regular portion is pretty large, there's NO WAY I could ever eat that in one sitting. But instead of ordering the smaller portion (which is a great option!), I ordered the regular size and had an entire meal leftover to take home!

    Bahama Breeze 5

Chris ordered the Chipotle Beef Bowl, which is a new item on the menu. I had a bite to taste it and it was really tasty too. The chipotle was flavorful but not spicy, like I thought it would be. His portion was pretty big too, so we each took home leftovers.

    Bahama Breeze 6

Just writing about these delicious dishes at Bahama Breeze makes me want to go back there for dinner this weekend....

    Bahama Breeze 7

Go visit your local Bahama Breeze now through May 5 to experience Bahama Breeze Viva La Rita for yourself! I suggest calling ahead to find out when there will be live music, because that is half the fun!

    Bahama Breeze 8

If you do go, share a pic on social media with the hashtag #VivaLaRita so that I can see what you're enjoying!

You know, I remember seeing one of these in our travels. Boy did we miss out not stopping. The next time I see one, we will be stopping,.. even if it is for a Bahamarita.

I wish we had a Bahama Breeze up here in Michigan. If we do, I have never seen it. Looks like a great place to eat and enjoy some sunshine.
