Double Feature For Double the Laughs With The Muppets of Pirates and Pigs Collection

When I was a little girl my mother took me to see The Great Muppet Caper. She loves to tell the story about how I took my Muppet stuffed animals along to see the movie and everyone had to have their own seat in the theater.  When I heard that  Muppet Treasure Island & The Great Muppet Caper were available in a Blu-ray Combo Pack I knew I wanted my kids to experience the magic of the Muppet gang.

My son is 3. He watched the first half of Muppet Treasure Island in between epic races between matchbox cars. Then he realized that we have Christmas Ornaments of Kermit, Rowlf, and Gonzo. That caught his interest. He was then hooked on the Muppet gang. Treasure Island is a fun and energetic take on the Classic Treasure Island. The Muppets take the high seas and Tim Curry plays a fair role as Long John Silver. The running jokes and muppets antics create a great film for the entire family.

When we were ready to watch the Great Muppet Caper my son was more than excited to see the Muppets again. I loved watching this movie with him and sharing something that I had loved so much as a child. My son liked the energy and action of this movie. I loved the story combined with the fun characters. Life was simpler in the 1980's. It is nice to share that with my son. The Great Muppet Caper was a hit with my family. We all agree that Miss Piggy steals the show in this movie.

This Blu-ray combo pack hit stores on 12/10 just in time for the holiday season. Muppet Treasure Island and the Great Muppet Caper would make a fun family gift to give or receive for double the laughs.
