Don’t Sweat the #HappiMess – #DeltaFaucet Temp2O Showerhead Giveaway

Delta_AP_LogoWhen Chris and I purchased my grandparent’s house in 2009, we knew that we had a lot of work to do to bring it up to date. We’re talking an original 1957 oven that barely worked and paneling on the walls, people. While we were renting, we replaced quite a few things, but the real update began once the home was OURS. As we can’t afford to hire a contractor to handle the home improvements our home so desperately needed, we have gone the DIY route and done most of the work ourselves. Do you know what happens when one spouse works a regular 9-5 job, the other has a full time business out of the home – and a house full with a teen and 7 pets?

Messes. Lots and lots of messes. We will start one project, let’s say remodeling the guest bedroom/home office…and then our AC begins leaking, causing our wood laminate flooring to warp and buckle…and then I have to take a trip for the blog, Chris has to go to South America for two weeks…before we know it, there’s a huge DIY mess and hardly any time to deal with it.

Have you heard that saying, “Don’t sweat the small stuff?” Well, that’s pretty much the ruling motto of our household. We are a busy family, and instead of spending what precious little time we do have together on cleaning and stressing over messes, I have learned to let it go. The tower of boxes in the guest bedroom? The slab of drywall in the family room, the buckets of paint in the utility room – I’m embracing it as a HappiMess and I will get to it when I get to it!

#HappiMess #DeltaFaucet

I know, I know, it’s hard to just ignore the mess, but I promise that it gets easier with a little practice! A HappiMess is evidence of a life well lived. A little mess after a day of playing with the kids, or after a family party, or even a bit of a mess after you’ve returned home from a wonderful family trip just means that you’ve been so busy bonding with your family and creating memories that you didn’t have time to pick up right away. The mess will be there later, just let it go and enjoy the moment!

I just received the new Delta Temp2O™ Shower Head to help with our #HappiMess – and I have to tell you, it certainly does brighten up our old bathroom! We haven’t gotten around to remodeling the bathroom yet, with the exception of a new light fixture, toilet and now this lovely Delta Temp2O™ Shower Head.

Delta Showerhead

We have three dogs, and to say that they make a mess is an understatement.

They are also very spoiled dogs, so they end up bringing their messes onto the furniture – more often than I would like to admit!

#HappiMess #DeltaFaucet

Keeping them clean is a never-ending job, and a quick bath makes a world of difference in the cleanliness of our sectional sofa.

Having a showerhead with a removable nozzle is a MUST in our home, not just for us human family members, but for the dogs too. It makes giving the little dogs a quick rinse so easy!

Delta Temp2o Showerhead

About the Delta Faucet Temp2O™ Showerhead

The Delta Temp2O Showerhead brings a new kind of technology to your bathroom – even bathrooms that haven’t seen an update in fifty years, like ours! It has a digital temperature display that features LED color indicators to signal the different temperature ranges of your water. There’s no more testing the water before you get into the shower, or having to check to make sure that the water isn’t too hot when it’s time to give the dogs a bath because the showerhead tells you! You don’t even need batteries!

There are three color indicators that signal different temperature ranges for an easy, visual indication of the water temperature. There is a blue that represents below 80 degrees, magenta signifies water temperature between 80 and 110, and Red means that the water is greater than 110 degrees. It also has a Touch-Clean nozzles that allows you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up with the touch of a finger, so no harsh, abrasive cleansers are required to keep it looking pretty.

There are a few models available, so whatever your preference is for a showerhead, Delta Faucet has you covered! They have a handshower, like we use, and showerheads. They both feature Temp2O™ Technology, and are hydro-powered, available in three finishes: Chrome, Brilliance® Stainless and Venetian® Bronze finishes.

Win a Delta Temp2O™ handshower or showerhead!

This giveaway is open to US residents and ends on October 21st at midnight. You will have your choice of a Delta Temp2O Handshower or showerhead. Good luck!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Why do people treat mess like it’s a bad thing? It’s actually the evidence of a life well lived. When you’re out there making, creating, doing and playing, embrace your #HappiMess and let Delta kitchen and bath innovations help clean up so you can do it all again tomorrow.

The HappiMess in my life has to be my nephews! I have them over at least once a week and my little apartment is a disaster area when they leave. Ha but I still let them over happily

My happy mess is my daughter’s alphabet magnets. She is obsessed with them, and instead of staying on the fridge where they belong, they are always scattered all over our living room. I can’t get mad at her for being interested in learning, and she is only 2.5 and recognizes all capital and lowercase letters, so it is a happy mess:)

The HappiMess in my life is also my pets. I don’t have dogs, but rather two snakes. They can make quite a mess which a lot of people probably don’t realize! They like to get into their water dishes and spill water everywhere which requires immediate cleanup so no mold or mildew becomes a problem in their hot and humid environments.

my happimess would have to be my little boy who is 2 months old I have blankets and rattles and clothes everywhere along with my two blue heelers who always seem to be bringing something in the yard from the neighbors shoes to the little girl next girls Barbie. if your missing something u are probly going to find it in my yard. or my loving husband along with all men he thinks I am his personal maid u walk in one room and its shoes and socks the next is pants and work shirt or in the kitchen I can always tell what he has ate because the evidence lays on my counter. but I would not trade my happimess for nothing.

How adorable! My happimess is gardening with the family…we had so much fun growing our own veggies and learning about how plants grow, but there was a LOT of dirt. Sometimes I wondered how there was any left in the garden!

My hapimess is my husband. He tries to do chores to help me, but usually makes more of a mess in the process. It’s sweet of him to try to ease the load.

My Happiness is being diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer in January of 2014. Right after the diagnosis, ,I had a Scope with biopsy. It came back as Non Small Cell Adenocarcinoma. I had surgery & 2 months of Chemoradiation. Now in remission for 3 months, praying it stays that way! YUCK!!

My Happimess consists of cat toys all over the house. I pick them up and it looks clean for awhile until they’re ready to dig in the toybox again.

The HappiMess usually occurs when my nephew visits. He can be a handful, but a lot of fun. The other day he grabbed the sale ads from our newspaper and had them scattered all over the livingroom.

The HappiMess in my life would have to be my little puppy Samson. He’s a terror when it’s raining outside, he wants to get as muddy as he can and make sure that his parents get muddy too. This showerhead would definitely help solve that.
