This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Diaper Genie® but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #PlaytexEssentials http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

My brother-in-law and his wife have a 7 month old baby, and their second one - or let's say that their second and third, because they just found out that they're pregnant with TWINS - is on the way. In my opinion, they've lived without a Diaper Genie Essentials for far too long, and with two new babies due in February, the madness has to end! I think the Diaper Genie Essentials is going to be life changing for my sister and brother-in-law!

Get a Diaper Genie - Keep the Stink Out AND Earn Rewards

There are three things that I love about the Diaper Genie Essentials Pail System w/100 ct. Refill available at Target. It keeps out the stink of dirty diapers - and boy are they stinky... but it also allows parents to earn Mommy Time Rewards, which I think is pretty awesome! At just $19.99 at Target, this is a really affordable baby shower item to give to a new mom in your life, or to buy for yourself if you have a little one in diapers at home!

There are also the Diaper Genie Elite with 100 ct. Refill, which sells for $31.49 and the Diaper Genie Complete Pail System w/100 ct. Refill, which sells for $34.99. The Diaper Genie Elite has a carbon filter! Don't you just love high tech baby gear?

Just think about it for a second. Think about ALL the times you've had or will have to change your baby. It's going to be a lot. And when diaper rash hits... Well, there's not letting the diaper fill up until it's convenient. Oh no. You've got to get that sucker off immediately! All of that diaper changing means a lot of diapers. That means your Diaper Genie Essentials is going to fill up fast. And THAT means you'll need to buy more liners.

This is where the Diaper Genie Mommy Rewards Program comes in. When you buy or register for qualifying Diaper Genie products, moms earn points to use towards some quality Mommy Time. The points can be redeemed for beauty and fashion items, entertainment, and shopping. Hey, you'll be buying Diaper Genie products anyway, you might as well get something back!

How the Diaper Genie Mommy Rewards Program Works:

    1. Purchase participating Diaper Genie products, yep it's that easy to begin...
    2. Take a photo of your store receipt using your mobile phone or upload a photo of your receipt or baby registry from your desktop and create a Mommy Time Rewards profile at MommyTimeRewards.com.
    3. To redeem your rewards, just log in to your Mommy Time Rewards account to redeem your points for eGift Card rewards.  Mom can reward herself with her favorite products from participating retailers like Sephora and Zappos, or eGift Cards for massages, dining and more!

I love the idea of giving the new mom in your life a Diaper Genie for a baby shower gift. With the Diaper Genie Essentials being only $19.99, and the Elite being only $31.49, why not create a little gift basket to go along with it?

Putting together a gift basket for a baby shower is super easy! Start with a Diaper Genie Essentials or Elite with 100 ct. refill, then buy an inexpensive wicker basket or one of those cute little storage cubes that are all the rage at Target right now. Purchase an additional Diaper Genie refill unit (they're only about $6.99 at Target), and a package of diapers, baby powder, baby lotion and diaper rash ointment. You can also add in a changing pad and a little rattle to keep baby entertained while their diaper is being changed. These are things that all parents need and believe me, they won't get returned after the baby shower!

Find out more about Diaper Genie products on the Diaper Genie website!

    Get Social With Diaper Genie!

Like the Diaper Genie Facebook page / Follow @DiaperGenie on Twitter and YouTube!

Now go throw those stinky diapers in your Diaper Genie!

When my sister got a diaper genie, she said it changed her life. I can't imagine trying to keep the stink to a minimum with poopy diapers.

We have a new baby girl due in a few weeks and I'm still looking for a great diaper pail option! What a great idea! This would go perfect in our nursery!

When my kids were babies, we had a DIaper Genie. It was the only brand that actually kept the smell down.

A diaper genie can be a life saver when it comes to diaper smells! I love they make mommy rewards now instead of just baby rewards.

This would have been really nice to have in the nursery. I really like how it keeps in the odors.

They may need an extra Diaper Genie or two when all three babies are in diapers! 🙂 Anything to make life easier with kids, right?

Your point about the rewards program is well taken. I don't think may people realize just how many diapers they are going to change in a day That is, until they actually do it.

I didn't use a diaper pail until I had twins. Double the stink? No thanks! I wish they had the rewards then though - that is awesome!
