This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Breyers. All opinions are 100% mine.

Delicious desserts don't have to be a time consuming ordeal. They can be quick and easy if you use the right ingredients to their fullest potential. With Breyers Natural Vanilla ice cream, delicious desserts are deliciously easy, and don't we all love that? Yes! Yes, we do!

Delicious Desserts - Easy is My Bag

I'm not into slaving over a stove. Occasionally, I'll get a bug to do some sort of Julia Child dessert, but generally speaking, I'm all about quick and easy. If I can find a dessert that I can whip up in no time and that tastes fantastic, I'm all over it. That's exactly what I found with this Breyers banana pudding recipe. It has 5 ingredients, and it only takes a few minutes to make!

Being Kind to the Earth is Also My Bag

It's perfect for me. I've always been a Breyers lover, and just like the majority of us, I love their Natural Vanilla flavor. Breyers Natural Vanilla is America’s No. 1 vanilla ice cream, and parents now have additional reasons to feel good about serving it to their family. It is a great base for all kinds of delicious desserts, and because Breyers now sources milk and cream from cows not treated with artificial growth hormones, I can feel good about where my ice cream - and the delicious desserts I make with it - comes from. (Suppliers of other ingredients such as cookies, candies & sauces may not be able to make this pledge. The FDA states that no significant difference has been shown between dairy derived from rBST-treated and non-rBST-treated cows.) Breyers Natural Vanilla is made with fresh cream, sugar and milk, and sustainably farmed vanilla beans. It's no wonder it tastes so good!

As Breyers products are available in grocery stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $3.99 - $5.99, it's a really affordable dessert option!

Without Further Ado - Breyers Banana "Pudding"

    INGREDIENTS

    • ½ large ripe banana, cut into 4 equal pieces
    • 1 Tbsp. turbinado sugar
    • 1 tsp. spreadable butter
    • 1 cup Breyers® Natural Vanilla Ice Cream
    • 4 vanilla wafer cookies

    INSTRUCTIONS

Put banana pieces on a baking sheet and sprinkle flat sides with turbinado sugar. Melt butter in a small nonstick skillet and sauté bananas.

    1

To assemble each, scoop Breyers® Natural Vanilla Ice Cream into a small wide rimmed glass. Then wedge 2 cookies on either side and top with sautéed bananas.

    3

    Yum!

I'm in love with this recipe. Talk about delicious desserts! The sauteed banana and vanilla wafer cookies pair perfectly with the Breyers Natural Vanilla ice cream. It's the perfect quick and easy dessert, because it tastes like it took a lot more work than it actually did!!

Jenn, this looks amazing! I love, love, love banana pudding - so this is right up my block! I've never used turbinado sugar, so I'll definitely have to try that.

Breyers is the only Vanilla Ice Cream we will buy. It is not full of a bunch of junk for ingredients. The recipe looks delicious... will have to try that soon.
