This is a sponsored post with Provide Commerce and the Social Media Chicks. All opinions are my own.

    christmas

Christmas is a really fun time of year for my family because aside from getting together to celebrate on the actual day of Christmas we make a point to gather several times during December! Our Christmas memories span over the entire month and involve getting all of the kids together to decorate my grandfather's Christmas tree, having a family progressive dinner, and then of course, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!

While the children are small, it's especially important to get them all together as much as possible during the holiday season. I have such fond memories of being together with my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins when I was a kid, and I try to create that same environment for Angeline.

    SONY DSC

And while the main theme of the holidays is "family" for us, giving the perfect gift doesn't fall far behind! I love shopping for Christmas gifts for my family, and we like to spoil our nieces and nephews with toys that make their faces shine with joy on Christmas morning!

It's not so easy to give the perfect Christmas gift to the adults in the family, as we no longer do a gift exchange like we do for the kids. Instead of going out and buying presents, we give each other homemade baked goods and things like that. It's so much fun to really put your heart into the perfect treat! Aside from the baking, my favorite part of our exchange is how I package my gifts for my loved ones.

I love the idea of delivering scrumptious cookies in personalized containers, like these treat containers from Personal Creations. I had a cookie jar-style container personalized for my sisters and their significant others, and I'll be piling them high with cookies on Christmas morning!

Instead of using plastic bags or simple paper boxes, why not take the extra step and have a personalized goody jar made for your loved ones? They can bring them out year after year when they begin decorating for Christmas, and the container itself serves as a Christmas decoration!

You can find these personalized treat jars along with so many other gift ideas in the Holiday Gift Guide at by Personal Creations.

The personalized gift ideas don't stop at goody jars, either! I had this lovely plaque made for my own kitchen - hey, mamas need presents too!

    SONY DSC

Personal Creations offers a range of gifts and personalization styles that will truly make your Christmas gifts unique this year. From adorable Christmas ornaments to stockings, accessories and home decor, there's something to show everyone on your list just how special they are to you!

Instead of just giving your mom another boring old Christmas platter, why not give her a beautiful platter that is personalized with her or the family's name?

Instead of just being a part of her serving ware, it becomes a family heirloom to be passed down through the generations! Personalized gifts aren't just gifts, they are memories. Every time your mom brings out her favorite Christmas platter, she will remember the thought and consideration you put into having it made for her.

Because it's not just something you purchased off a shelf - every personalized item is something that you had made especially for her!

Between all of the home and kitchen personalized items and the lovely personalized Christmas Stockings I had made for my nieces and nephew, it's going to be a very personal Christmas this year!

You can check out all of the festive items available at Personal Creations in their new Christmas Collections!

I love the personalized containers and am thinking I need something like that for my boys so there's no doubt who's still got treats left.

Awe, love the personalized gift ideas but the christmas tree skirt is my favorite. Or maybe it's keep calm sign.

This is making me think. This year I was planning to have Christmas, but that means my kids won't be seeing my aunts and grandparents (but will be seeing their cousins)…is bigger better for the holidays?

I like the tree skirt! I've been thinking about investing in a real skirt instead of the sheet I gracefully wrap around the trunk. Next year, I'll try to go all out with a real tree and skirt!

We think creating family traditions is a very loving plan. It makes everyone happy and leaves them with good memories. Making gifts, treats and decorations is so much fun
