Summer is in full swing down here in Miami and the temperatures are rising! I am all about the cool and refreshing drinks right now, aren't you? They are so fun to make and are such a great way to cool down on a hot summer day! I was perusing the internet the other day while working on a new Refreshing Summer Drinks Collection on Foodie.com and realized that I really don't make smoothies and slushes on a regular basis!

Needless to say, it's time to change that!

    by Jenn Quillen at Foodie.com

Have you ever visited Foodie.com? I have been a fan of the website for a long time - I even use the Foodie app for my iPhone! I'm waiting for it to become available for my Windows phone too...hint, hint, Foodie - get on that!

Foodie.com is a great website for foodies like myself, as it's a website completely dedicated to FOOD! It really is all recipes, all the time, unlike some other websites that are so overrun with spam and affiliate links that you can't even find real recipes. It's a great source of inspiration whenever I want to change things up a bit in the kitchen, and let's just say it: the website is pretty! I find I spend so much time browsing and adding new recipes to my collections because everything just looks so nice.

Go check out my Refreshing Summer Drinks Collection on Foodie.com and tell me what you think!

There's enough smoothies listed here to try one everyday for days to come. I think number one on my list would be the Pineapple Coolers. Then I'll go for the hibiscus drink. I have never had anything with hibiscus in it unless you count a flower bouquet. The mini milkshake shooters are a must. There's just so many to choose from. I choose them all.
