Today is my 33rd birthday.
Or, as I like to refer to it, the 5th anniversary of my 28th birthday.
So...I was up at 7 am, made smoothies for myself and the kiddo, then jumped in the shower, got dressed, plastered a bunch of make up on my face, and then made a mad dash to the DMV to renew my driver's license (which of course, expires today).
While I was in line at the DMV, my phone began buzzing like craaaazy! I received 28 emails within the 19 minutes it took me to renew my driver's license. Yes, I am serious. It only took me 19 minutes. I think that the birthday gods were smiling on me this morning.
So, most of those emails were Facebook notifications telling me every time a friend posted one of those much appreciated "Happy Birthday" messages to my wall. But there was one that stood out.
I am a Coach addict. More specifically, I am a Coach Factory addict, because really, who can afford to be an addict at full price? So I immediately began drooling over this email and counting down the moments until I could go home and start shopping online with this insane discount.
But I had a few things to do first.
For instance, I needed to go to Walgreens and get my passport photo taken. I had to run to Home Depot, yet again, to purchase parts for my AC and electrical project going on (that is part of my illegal addition project). I had to go to the local AC parts shop to buy a strap down thingy for my AC unit. I had to go to the third world country style market to buy fruit nectar cans that were on sale three for a dollar...I know, I know. That one didn't have to actually be done today, but I am out of them and I need those for my smoothies in the morning.
I came home and I am taking a tiny little Coach break to do some online shopping. I have more stuff to do, and the house could use a cleaning...but when Coach calls, you take a break and answer!
Someone asked me to share the url for this sale, and unfortunately, it is only accessible through my personal login information. Which, for obvious reasons, I will not be sharing with anyone. I shop at the Coach Factory stores in Key West and Miami all the time and I supposed I somehow ended up on a special list. However, you can sign up for this super secret squirrel list here: http://www.coachfactory.com/signup/default.aspx
Happy Birthday to me!
