I'm a big city girl who grew up with a small town experience...don't even ask me how that happened since I was born and raised in Miami, Florida, but it did! Miami is a huge, sprawling city, but the neighborhoods are tight little pockets that feel like small towns. Mine? It's called Cutler Bay, and used to be called Cutler Ridge.

I have spent my entire life here - I actually live in the same house that my father was raised in; my ex-husband and I bought it and raised my daughter here. I live 5 blocks away from the home I was raised in....so while Miami may be a big city, I have had the best of both worlds here: a small town AND a big city!

But I think I am ready to leave the nest after 38 years...to another big city - New York City - it has been beckoning to me for a while now, and I think I MIGHT actually be ready to start planning a move there...maybe. Life has been a bit in limbo since my recent divorce and I feel that I am ready for a change, but I've been dragging my feet more and more lately.

Miami is the MAGIC CITY after all...do I really need to leave? Probably not. Maybe. I don't know. {Yes, I am undecided}

There's a brand new original TV series called Chesapeake Shores, that premieres on the Hallmark Channel on Sunday, August 14^th  at 9:00 PM / 8:00c.
