Checking in from Barbados...

I've been in Barbados for the better part of two days...and it's beautiful!

It seems that we are on the "wrong side" of the island, as there is little to do near our hotel. I've been told that there are more luxurious accommodations, more restaurants and more things to do (shopping, attractions, water sports) on the other side.

But for me, this is perfect. I didn't come here to party, I didn't come here to shop...I came to spend a quiet weekend with my husband in celebration of our 10 year anniversary.

So what Have I been doing? Nothing much. Strolling the beach, spending quality time with my husband...soaking up the sun! There's plenty of that in Barbados!
