Since recently becoming a pet owner, it has led me to rediscover why I enjoyed all these years not having a pet. The constant need to vacuum and run around the house practically chasing the dog with a lint remover brush is not the highlight of my day. With BISSELL Lift-Off Technology it's like getting two vacuums in one. You have the full-size upright vacuum, but with the simple easy release button you also get the convenience of cleaning with a portable vacuum. We do not have stairs in our house but a tiny part of me wishes we did just so I could test the portable vacuum on them. I have through run across our floor boards with just the portable and it's just as powerful as the full sized vacuum.

This allows for the filters to then trap the tiny particles of dust and allergens to help keep the air in your home free from more allergens.

After setting this bad boy, which took me less then five minutes (yeah me, the one who is building anything challenged set the vacuum up all by myself, and correctly!)  I took the BISSELL PowerGlide Pet Vacuum with Lift-Off Technology for a spin and vacuumed the entire house. Yeah the entire house, I couldn't stop myself. When people come over, you have to get all those places that you’ve never thought to clean but your house guests always notice!

Here are a few cleaning tips to keep in mind before your next party:

• If you have stairs, don't forget to vacuum them and dust the railings, even if you don't expect your guests to go upstairs.
• Vacuum the corners of your ceilings and make sure to get any cobwebs around the house! Unless it's a Halloween party, then you might want to leave them for an extra spooky effect...
• Vacuum underneath the furniture, yes, even the couch!
• Vacuum your window and door frames! You might not realize it, but they collect a lot of dust.
• Don't froget to vacuum behind the bathroom toilet! You know how the pets are always following you into the bathroom? Well their hair and dander collects there too!
