This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of DuPont™ Corian®. All opinions are 100% mine.

While on my travels, it's important to keep my devices charged. I need to be able to text my daughter, check and respond to emails, and snap pictures among other things. Charging is necessary these days, but there are creative solutions to the tangle of charger cables that most of us use. How fantastic would it be if we were able to wirelessly charge right from your counter top at home, hotel room, coffee shop, or airport? That's exactly what the DuPont™ Corian® Charging Surface has been designed to do. It's a modern combination of technology, aesthetics, and functionality.

With its lighting effects and shape-shifting forms, architects and designers have been choosing DuPont™ Corian® solid surface for years. With an extensive palette of 110 trendy colors, Corian® surfaces are durable, stain-resistant, and easy to clean. They are also easy to maintain. Add to those qualities the newest wireless charging option and it's easy to understand why this is a top solid surface choice for both residential and commercial applications. Use the Corian® Charging Surface to solve specific design challenges while enhancing unique environments. Simply put, it looks amazing and now provides a necessary service.

How does the Corian® Charging Surface work? Below the surface, hidden from view, a transmitter safely transfers energy wirelessly to a receiver within or attached to your smart device. The charging automatically stops when your battery is at maximum capacity. In residential settings, it is both PMA an Qi compatible - dual mode. By offering both technologies, the charging surface will be relevant longer even as phone technology advances. When new firmware is made available, upgrades can be made through a micro usb port.

Steps to charge your device with the Corian® Charging Surface:

Step 1: Connect a receiver (a ring or charging case) to your smart device.

Step 2: Put your device on the charging spot and power up.

With commercial applications, the plug and play functionality and full cloud networking capability of the individual unit is ideal for most businesses. DuPont's partner Powermat utilizes a viewable dashboard which shows the charging units, remote diagnostics, and can push notifications to your customers while they are charging. This charging surface technology is also available for integration in DuPont™ Zodiaq Quartz Surfaces.
