To say that I love my dogs would be the understatement of the year. When trying to think of an example of how my dogs have brought me love for Cesar’s Share a Story Share the Love campaign, I had a hard time narrowing it down to just one instance! I adore my fur babies! Foxy, Bailey and Toby each have their own unique personalities and add so much joy to my life – and to our family!
Toby is the baby of the bunch, being just two years old. Even though he’s technically an adult, he still acts very much like a puppy, and is all cuddles and snuggles!
Whenever we are down, Bailey and Toby just seem to know it. Angeline, being a normal teenager, will sometimes get mopey and sad. When she does, Toby is practically glued to her side! He follows her around, licks her toes when she sits on the couch, and stares at her with his gorgeous little puppy dog eyes.
I don’t really understand how dogs are able to recognize when people are sad, but with my dogs, at least, they really do. Toby will try to burrow his little head into my daughter’s lap when she is upset, and he and Bailey just want to lay all over her.
When my grandmother passed away two years ago, Bailey would snuggle up to me every chance he got, and when I cried, he would whimper and paw at me.
It was the sweetest thing, and that big ball of fur did help me feel better! The thing is, my dogs always make me feel better, not just when something bad happens, but always. They bring so much joy into my life all of the time! I can’t think of three dogs more perfect to describe in this Share a Story Share the Love campaign for Cesar!
There’s just something therapeutic about a soft, sweet dog. Something about their soft fur, their kind eyes, the feeling of love and adoration that radiates from them when they like a person.
My husband traveled a lot for work over the past year or so, and Bailey and Toby have been my constant companions in his absence. Of course, Foxy is very loving too, but she just isn’t as snuggly as the little dogs. She is very independent, always wanting to be near me but not really with me.
People have found over the years that the unconditional love of a a dog can help people with many different kinds of illnesses and they can also help with therapy. I have seen this for myself not only with my grandfather, but with a my best friend’s sister.
Cesar believes that a relationship with a dog can truly improve every life, including people in need. Did you know that dogs are capable of lowering their owner’s stress, anxiety and even blood pressure? It has been proven that people who have pets live longer than those who do not. All that fur ball love really does make a difference, folks!
Cesar created the Share a Story Share the Love Initiative, a social media campaign to help support and spotlight therapy dog organizations, to ensure people in need continue to receive the powerful benefits of a dog’s unconditional love. I have heard so much about Shetland Sheepdogs being therapy dogs that I have wanted to have Bailey and Toby trained for a while now. There is a nursing home in my neighborhood and I know that the folks there would love Bailey and Toby – everyone does!
The Share a Story and Share the Love campaign encourages dog lovers to share the heartwarming stories of therapy dogs through their social media communities such as Facebook and Twitter. In return, Cesar will share the love with three therapy dog organizations through donations that help continue the services they provide to people in need. Isn’t that wonderful?

I wrote this review while participating in an ambassador program by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Cesar and received product samples and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
