So y'all may have guessed by now that I love cats. And kittens...and dogs too, but that's a whole separate post, right? The nice folks at PetSmart sent me two really cute PetSmart cat Halloween costumes for Tarzan and Gizmo, so of course I have to show them off!

It was super hard to get them to sit still long enough for me to dress them up - even though the costumes were just little hats. It's like they saw me with them in my hands and everyone made a beeline for under the bed.

I managed to catch Stripes...and turned him into a clown.

He's not a very cheerful clown, is he?

Gizmo was almost impossible to get dressed as a Court Jester. She was not having it!

Of course, as soon as I showed her the cat treats, she became a little more animated!

You might be wondering where Tarzan is, right? Originally, I wanted to dress him as the clown and Gizmo as the court jester, but he was having none of that! He ran and hid under our bed until he knew the coast was clear.

I did manage to catch him off guard and put the Clown hat on him, but he wasn't very cooperative...

I pulled the cat treats out of the drawer and he seemed a little more interested...
I thought these PetSmart Halloween cat costumes were really adorable, and despite our cat's resistance to wearing them, they weren't restrictive at all. They just had a little strap that went under the neck, and it's not tight - which is why our foster kittens were able to get out of them so easily!
PetSmart has a ton of really cute Halloween cat costumes, and they're very inexpensive! There are cat costumes starting at just $7.99, and they're on sale right now for $6.39 each! You can check out the entire line of Halloween cat costumes at PetSmart.com, or head down to your local store to check them out in person.
If you have a little furball who will willingly put on their Halloween costume, you should head down to PetSmart on October 19th - PetSmart is hosting in-store events where you can bring your cats (and dogs) to show off their duds!

Poor cats 🙂 Reminds me of Trisha's kitty. I just love those kittens. You make me want to get more! (My husband would kill me)

I just laughed out loud and think they all look adorable! Is it just the angle of the photo or is Stripes that massive?

He's a big cat but the angle makes him look a lot bigger!

My goodness.... the cuteness! I honestly haven't seen that many cat costumes around - just a lot of dog costumes. So, that's great that PetSmart has a selection of costumes for dogs and cats alike. 🙂
