You know what I can't stand? DRAMA. Especially drama when it comes to car shopping! Cars.com also hates drama in car shopping, but loves it in 15 seconds or less. I think it's safe to say that we can all deal with just 15 seconds of drama, right? Cars.com is currently running a pretty fantastic video contest on Instagram, and you can enter for a chance to win $35k toward a new car just by uploading a video to Instagram showing your 15 seconds of drama and using the hashtag #15SecondsofDrama.
Easy enough, right?
Check out my #15SecondsofDrama video entry - of course I have plenty of drama on a daily basis, as I do have a teenage girl in the house...but if I made a video about her and she saw it? There would be much, much more drama...so I played it safe and went with pet drama!
What do you think? If you are a pet owner, I am sure you can relate to the in-out-back in-then out again drama!
Do you have any drama in your life? It can be something as trivial as the mailman forgetting to close your mailbox and your mail gets rained on (that happens to me all of the time!) or something crazy, like you run out to the car to head to a job interview and find that you have a flat tire!
Once you upload your 15 second video to Instagram with the #15SecondsofDrama hashtag, you will receive a thank you comment from @Carsdotcom. That means that you are officially entered! Cars.com will be reviewing videos and the top three will be shown at the top of the 15 Seconds of Drama website for people to vote on! Then it's time to rally your friends and family (and social media fans too, don't forget them!) to vote for your video! Of course, strangers will be voting too!
Someone from the top three will win $35,000 towards a brand new car and they'll also receive the help of a Cars.com expert to make sure that their car shopping experience is drama-free!
This contest is open to legal US residents 18 and over and ends at 5 PM Central on March 26th, 2014, so you still have plenty of time to enter! You can find the official rules here.
Head on over to the 15 Seconds of Drama website to learn more!

Love your video, but come on .. not sharing the teen drama? That is so entertaining though! LOL I know I know ... my daughter is 11 and has to approve all I share online about her 😉 It's a respect of their privacy thing for me. Love the animal post, very dramatic! And cute!
Robin (Masshole Mommy)
Hahahaha - I could totally upload 15 seconds of my boys bickering. That is more than enough drama if you ask me lol. This sounds like a fun contest.
Terin Garrett
My whole life is drama! ha! I just have to laugh at it! 🙂

I agree, my life has a lot of drama as well. Usually involves fighting between siblings, freak outs because my daughter can't find her favorite shoes, or animals barking at passer-bys right after I laid the baby down for a nap. So yes, I would appreciate drama free car buying.

LOL! I can relate to that video!!! Too cute! Ugh, and car shopping can be fun, but I leave all the negotiating to my hubby. He was there for like 8 hours when we bought our last car. No way could I hang in there for that!!
Nancy Lustri
Your video is too cute! Lots of drama here with two teenagers - hee-hee. I better get busy. Would love to win the 35K toward a new car!

The biggest drama I have to say is "What is for supper?" The whole asking hubby what do you want to have to eat? The "I don't know." Then the "I don't care." Then the "Not that!" - I've tried the not asking and that does not work then I hear.... " I am in no mood for that!" LOL
Jessica
My dogs are just like this! We leave our back door open for them to go out during the day and they won't even budge. Then as soon as you close that sliding door they bark to go out. MAKES NO SENSE! My pug will go out and sun bathe for hours. Then she refuses to come back in. We have to physically pick her up!

Very wise to protect your daughter's drama! Love the cat! You're right - car buying should be much easier!
Terry
I will NOT go car shopping. I let my Hubs take care of that and whatever I end up with is fine with me. As long as it runs, I am happy. He buys a new car every few years and it just drives me nuts.... I don't care what I drive.

What a fun and EASY idea! I always have so much DRAMA in my house... 3 girls and a husband.. BAM this will be easy
Angela S
I am loving your video! I could easily fill 15 seconds of drama at my house. Car shopping for me in the past has always been so stressful, so I could totally use some drama free car shopping.
Dominique Cloutier
What a neat contest! I have two toddlers and we are currently crashing in my parent's basement until we buy a house, so there's plenty of drama here!
Angela
You are such a wise mom to protect your daughter's drama!
Tara
OK, I can do this....and really would love the $35k towards a car. Good thing having 2 teens 3 cats, 1 dog, yada yada, I can find 15 seconds of drama in my day! 😉
Catherine L.
Cute video! I should upload a video about my rude neighbors. Too bad that drama require more than 15 seconds!
Leila
I love your dog and can totally related to the in and out drama with animals! I have been car shopping once and don't know that I would ever want to do it again, but I would love a new car and money to go towards the new car! 🙂

LOVED your video.. Luckily for me we have a Pet door, so that is one drama I can avoid.. But with TWO teenagers and a Princess that thinks she is 20 (she's actually only 6) I have lots of drama ever single day... What a great sweepstake, thanks for the info will have to check it out
Mandy
I have never enjoyed car shopping. The dealerships play too much of a game with everyone. I feel like my days are full of toddler dram which is really not drama in the big picture of things
Tiffany Cruz
Very cute video! I HATE car buying time. I hope I don't have to do it for a long time. When I do though I'm going to do as much as I can from home behind my own computer. Great content. Best of luck to you with it.
Melissa
What a fun contest - I could use a new car! I need to take a video of my twin girls and the drama of their crying lol!
brett
oh ,I could share a LOT of footage of 3 little martins fighting. all the time. I probably won't. not today.
Rosey
There's a contest well worth the effort. Great prize offering, for sure. 🙂

Good call on protecting the teenage angst. Your pets are cute. The in and out syndrome in our house is with our 5yo and 6yo. First big brother wants to go out to play, then little sister wants to go out and play. When she does, big brother wants to come back in, then little sister wants to come back in. Round and round they go.
Debra
My daily drama is - he/she won't share X toy with me! It's the same thing every day!
Dina Demarest
Oh I'd love to win this! My pet peeve is people who don't use blinkers!
Dawn
I have pets and a teen, too. Trust - there is always drama! lol!
Krystal
This is such a cool contest! There is always drama in my house with two loud dogs and a toddler running around!
Ashley M
My three (almost four) year old does drama like no one I know. She even creates drama while she plays pretend. It cracks me up.
Eliz Frank
It's a great question that had me laughing... But I don't have much drama in my life... Boring eh?
Amanda H.
This is a cool prize for just 15 seconds of video. I'm going to enter so I hope I win!
Kenda Smith
I would guess that 90% of my drama moments all come from my 4 year old. He is definitely a 'drama king'. The teen isn't so bad - isn't it supposed to be the other way around? lol
