The 2016 Presidential Race is getting kinda crazy, y’all. If my Facebook feed is any indication, things are heating up and there are many who still don’t know which way they are going to vote…I used to joke that I wanted to just vote for Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam, because I couldn’t find a BETTER MAN. Yes, I am a 90’s grunge fan, so sue me!
Well, I’m not the only one who thinks that we need more options in the 2016 Presidential election…
Captain Obvious is running for President; the only way he knows how….by actually, PHYSICALLY running. Yes, I said RUNNING. He is running through states, providing laughter and comedic relief from the stress of the current political climate. It’s getting hot in here, guys, and at least there’s someone out there who’s making us laugh instead of throwing our hands up in the air in frustration!
Captain Obvious will be providing us all with satirical commentary on what has already proven to be one of the weirdest election years ever, and now you can follow Captain Obvious’ run on the “Captain Obvious Runs For President” microsite – you can see which states he’s run through, grab some merchandise, and share fun content on social media!
Hotels.com is supporting Captain Obvious during his race towards the Presidency because they believe in simplicity as much as he does – and of course he is going to a place to sleep each night after his runs! They’ll be providing him with running shoes, socks, shorts and everything else he needs for his run.
I love that Hotels.com is supporting Captain Obvious – I am a huge fan of the brand and have used it during many a traveling adventure myself! I’ve been a user of the site for many years and not only do I find great deals on hotels whenever I search, but I also love racking up points towards those free hotel stays! Great prices, a wide selection AND earning points towards free stays? It’s pretty obvious…
And Captain Obvious is the perfect fit!
Check out the Captain Obvious video to get a better idea of what I am talking about! Though, if you watch the Florida video, let me clarify one thing: Florida’s state bird is NOT a mosquito. It’s the mockingbird.
