Last year, I found this guy, The Man Wife on Twitter. He's funny. I mean, he's really, really funny. The kind of funny that when you're reading his tweets, or his blog The Man Wife Chronicles , you can't help but snort with laughter in the middle of your office and everyone looks up to see what the hell is going on.
That funny.
He's another guy screwed over by the recession and a small city town with no economy. He's been unemployed for over a year and we hear a lot about it on Twitter and his blog. He's self deprecating. He's witty and clever. He's snarky and sarcastic. He's hilarious.
Every day, he asks a question, and it's become a pretty big deal. I mean, it has it's own HASHTAG. That's considered some pretty serious shit in Twitterverse. What he did was compile some of the funniest questions and answers and write a book about it. I'm proud to say a few of my answers from the past year or so were included!! (I'm @rebelchick) Yay for me!
I'll give you an example: (this isn't in the book, so I will use this as my example)
From earlier today:
Question of the Day: Dumbest job interview questions EVER! GO!
@funkydoolah answered "where do you see yourself in 5 years time... It's always tempting to say crippled in a base jumping accident!"
My answer?" I like to say "In your seat" but no one seems to like that."
Go buy his book. It is hilarious. It's available on Kindle and Nook, and as we all know, you do not need a Kindle or Nook to use their services - both have FREE apps for the iPhones, Droids, iPads, etc. It's $2.99. Don't be a cheap ass. Just buy it. You probably need a good laugh.
Buy it Here for the Kindle...
Buy it Here for the Nook.
You won't be disappointed! Also, FYI, I wasn't even asked to do this review or paid, bribed, etc. I just really want you guys to check his book out.
