As I find myself almost halfway through the first month of the new year, I realize that it's time to start putting those new year resolutions into practice - like getting healthier!
I've already incorporated multivitamins and a few supplements into my daily routine, but I am always on the lookout for new ways to improve my health. I have heard a lot about the benefits of fish oil, so I decided to add it to my list of things to do. Only, when I began looking into it, it seemed that there was an even more beneficial alternative - krill oil.
Of course, I had no idea what a krill was or how it would be beneficial to my health, so I had to look it up. Antarctic krill is a crustacean similar to a shrimp and scientists and doctors have discovered that ingesting oil made from krill can have positive affects on your body! A few benefits of Everest Nutrition's Krilloil.com are lower cholesterol and reduced risk of heart disease, which are pretty similar to the benefits of fish oil supplements.
However, in one study, Krill oil was found to be 54x more powerful in antioxidant activity than fish oil! With that big of a difference, I don't really see the point in even considering fish oils anymore!
According to clinical research, krill oil supplements can have quite a few important benefits aside from the cardiovascular and cholesterol-related.
- Reduction in facial wrinkles - up to 51%
- As much as a 48% improvement in memory
- Decrease the emotional and physical effects of PMS by 47%
- Increase energy by over 50%
So in addition to lowering bad cholestoral and increasing good cholestoral, and improving cardiovascular health, krill oil can actually make me feel better, look better and enjoy life more! I mean, really, who doesn't want to reduce wrinkles and increase their memory and energy? I know I do!
In addition to the vitamins I take on a daily basis, I am definitely adding krill oil supplements to my list!

Personally, I hate most fish oil due to the fishy aftertaste. So, this sounds even better!

I have a hard time taking fish oil caplets too, so I will have to look into this one!
