Young Athletes are healthy ones. When they are active, especially in organized sports, they are more physically healthy, they develop a sense of teamwork, and they learn about the triumphs and defeats that come with life. Through the years, I've supported my daughter in her athletic endeavors. While I wouldn't classify her as a jock, she was one of the young athletes in her community. That's an important thing to nurture!
When you support your athlete's athletic dreams - even if they don't pan out - you support their desire to be their best. You support their desire to try to make something more out of themselves, even in that small way. An athlete who plays sports or just gets out and play with the others learns so many life lessons, and they stay healthier. I'd say that's a win/win!
Young Athletes - Supporting Their Big Dreams with POWERADE
There was no POWERADE back when my daughter was big into sports. We had sports drinks, of course, but nothing that had as much beneficial punch as POWERADE. What I love about POWERADE is how advanced their hydration formula is for anyone who's active. Their ION4® Advanced Electrolyte System replenishes four electrolytes lost in sweat - sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. It also features a 6% carbohydrate solution complete with vitamins B3, B6, and B12 to help give active individuals a boost of energy while they're doing their thing.
POWERADE also comes in great flavors like Mountain Berry Blast®, Fruit Punch, Orange, Grape, and Lemon Lime. POWERADE Zero flavors include Mixed Berry and Grape Zero.
Why am I focusing on POWERADE? Because they know how important it is to help young athletes be their best. The POWERADE "Just a Kid" campaign is all about supporting young athletes full of potential and big dreams. The know that with the right motivation, our young every day athletes can achieve their potential and maybe one day become the athletes they look up to. Whether it's t-ball or the pros, they know that every athlete in every league across the country has a story just waiting to be told. You can represent your active ones' somewhere with custom "Just a Kid" apparel featuring where your little athlete is from. The best part is that all proceeds go to the Boys & Girls Club of America!

This sounds like a cool program. What a cute water bottle - I'll have to make sure to hang on to my receipts! I encourage my kids to participate in athletic events.

Powerade seems to be the drink of choice for people in sports, I see it at all the swim meets and basketball games.

Our girls always pick Powerade when we're at Sam's Club. They say it tastes so much better than that 'other' brand.
