7 Tricks That Help Kroger Attract Customers

Kroger proudly positions itself as ‘America’s favorite grocer’. It sells fresh and affordable foods. In addition to the wide variety of items, shoppers are attracted through smart deals and other money-saving schemes. Here are a few tricks which help the retail chain expand its customer base.

    1. Their Loyalty Card

A free Kroger card gives access to the best deals. This is something every grocery shopper should know and use. Moreover, it is the only way to unlock Kroger’s sale prices. To receive a card, you need to sign up at the customer service desk. It should then be registered online - this way, you can have coupons mailed to your home or email address.

    2. 2-Day or 3-Day Sales

These are held weekly. These events typically fall on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. To seize the most valuable offers, remember to download the coupon via the store app or website. This opens access to savings as high as 50 – 60%.

7 Tricks That Help Kroger Attract Customers

Weekly ads are also available on special platforms. For example, you can find circular ad from Kroger on www.rabato.com. This platform is your ultimate destination for discounts from top US retailers. All offers are neatly packed into a single newsletter mailed to subscribers. They have also adopted personalization at scale, which really helps their site to stand out from the crowd.

    3. Digital Coupons

The days of newspaper clipping are gone. Virtual coupons are available on the store’s website and app. Customers download them to their reward card with no need to print anything. Usually, Kroger issues coupons valid for single use.

During special sales, it is sometimes possible to use the same digital coupons for more than once. These have special markings in the app, so you can't miss them. Normally, the chance for reuse appears monthly.

    4. Coupons Grow in Value

The more purchases on your record, the higher the value of coupons unlocked. The store team monitors personal preferences for every customer. Once they spot an item they would like you to buy in larger quantities, they send a set of free related coupons free of charge. This could get you a free box of cereal, a discount on meat, etc.

    5. Free Items

The chain allows its customers to get one item per month for free - usually on the first Friday. The virtual coupon can be loaded to a loyalty card on a special day, and be exchanged for the item within two weeks.

    6. Mega Sale Savings

The name is no lie - these discounts can be really impressive. This deal is perfect for shoppers who buy a set of identical items at once. It is, however, essential to remember the exact number of items required for the price cut. For instance, you may need five of those to get $5 off the entire purchase. So, if you are willing to stock up on supplies - this is your perfect chance.

    7. Their “10 for $10” does not mean 10!

Even though a deal may be called "10 items for 10 dollars", this does not require you to purchase the whole lot. Each of the items is priced at $1 separately! Now that's honest marketing without a catch - a rare find!
