    JOHNSON’S® Makes a #PromiseToBaby

Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post in #partner with JOHNSON’S® Baby and The Motherhood. I received compensation and free product in exchange for providing this post. However, all thoughts and opinions expressed here are 100% my own.

The moment your little one is born your heart swells with unconditional love. Instantly you become this tiny little person’s protector and from the first day, you begin making promises that you’ll spend your lifetime upholding. From the first "boo boo" to the first bicycle ride without training wheels, the first day of school to the first school dance and everything in between, we promise our children that we will be behind them 100%.

Promises of support and encouragement as well as discipline and guidance continue as your children grow, especially in the teen years, like my daughter. Your patience and resolve will be tested time and again - such as on our recent 14 hour road trip - as you fulfill these promises. Keeping these promises isn’t always easy, but it’s always worth it. Repeat after me: it's always worth it!

Promises are important in my family and we expect that they are kept when made. That is why I’m impressed when companies do the same. Johnson’s Baby products have always been a favorite of mine. There’s something very simple, yet soothing about the shampoo and the lotions. I can reach for a bottle now and the scent brings back memories of when my daughter was little, splashing in the bathtub, warbling like a mermaid and playing with her rubber duckies. I knew these were products I could feel safe using because my mom used them with me, and my daughter will likely use them with her babies!

Sometimes it’s hard to remember that there are people behind big companies. They are Moms, Dads, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents and just like us they want the best for their families. When Johnson’s Baby heard the concerns of their customers about formaldehyde-releasing preservatives and traces of 1,4 dioxane in their baby products, they made the promise and commitment to remove them.

Johnson’s Baby even removed parabens (ahead of their 2015 commitment schedule) from most of their new and improved baby products.

The JOHNSON’S® Baby Family is excited to introduce you to their seven newly reformulated products:

    JOHNSON’S® Baby HEAD-TO-TOE® Wash
    JOHNSON’S® Baby Lotion
    JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo
JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo & Conditioner for Thick and Curly Hair
JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo & Conditioner for Thin and Straight Hair
JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo with Calming Lavender

In Japanese legend, folding 1,000 origami cranes will result in a wish granted and a promise fulfilled. #JOHNSONSBaby, inspired by this legend, asked employees and their families to help build 1,000 origami storks to symbolize the delivery of their #PromiseToBaby to always listen to Moms. Watch the video “Our Promise” below to see the storks being folded and hung.

I love this news. They are making it so much easier for new parents to have a trusted brand to buy and not be overwhelmed from all of the information out there about what to avoid and what not to buy.

I think it's great that Johnson's changes their formula to eliminate parabens. They are toxic to the body, and the most definitely shouldn't be used on the tiny ones.

I completely agree! When the big company's are onboard, it's much easier for other companies to follow suit.

I am so happy to hear this... Both my girls have very sensitive skin and had a reaction to the old formula... I was so upset because Johnson's has such a good name... I am glad that they have changed their formula. Maybe we can go back to it now.
