Here is an itinerary that will make your trip much easier:

You should start your vacation by getting to know the city from a hop on hop off sightseeing bus. This tour will cover major sights whilst offering an interesting perspective and narration. The sites that you will see on such tours include Madison Square Garden and the Brooklyn Bridge. When you opt for a hop on hop off tour, you can get on and off the bus at your own leisure, which gives you more freedom.

You should get out of Times Square if you do not want to pay an arm and a leg for your lunch. You will find everything from sushi to salads in midtown. You can even have one beer for the road before you leave for your next attraction.

Sightseeing Cruise

If you want to see panoramic views of the NYC skyline, you should take to the water. However, before you choose any cruise, you need to visit the cruise website to see what kind of deals they offer. You might end up saving money if you select the right cruise for yourself.

Central Park Bike Tour

You can culminate your day with a nice bike ride through Central Park, which is the best way to get some fresh air. While at this amazing park, you will get to see Strawberry Fields, Belvedere Castle, and Cherry Hill Fountain, among other great attractions. When you opt for a bike tour, you will see many things within a short time and get back to your room.

Day 2

Top of the Rock Observatory

This is one of the most popular attractions in The Big Apple. With indoor observation decks, you will get to see panoramic views of the city. From this vantage point, you will be able to see Central Park, the Chrysler Building, and Freedom Tower.

High Line Park

This is one of the hidden gems in the city of dreams. Made from the remains of an old railway line, this elevated track runs from West 34th Street to the Meatpacking District. It overlooks Chelsea, which is an artsy little neighborhood. You can choose to get off it at any of the descent points or walk the whole 1.45 miles.

Chelsea Lunch

Get off the High Line to enjoy a nice meal in Chelsea. You can have your lunch in Chelsea Market, which is an urban food court that offers a wide range of food choices.

Empire State Building

You can end your day by visiting one of the most iconic buildings in NYC. To get the best views of the city below, you should ascend to the 86th floor of this building. Aside from being an architectural marvel, it also has historical significance.
