With back-to-school shopping in full swing in our household, I’ve visited Express jeans more than once, looking for cool and trendy pants for my daughter.

It’s difficult to find jeans that she likes, because there are so many styles to choose from! She loves skinny jeans but as the trends change, she has become more open minded to different styles. Jeggings? Totally doable by her standards. They look just like skinny jeans, but are lighter and cooler – which is so important in the year-round Miami heat.

EXTREME STRETCH STELLA JEAN LEGGING at Express

Jean leggings are all the rage right now, and honestly, I can see why. While my body doesn’t look so great in jeggings, girls with my daughter’s build look fantastic in them. They’re comfortable, they’re cute, and they’re so versatile!

While I was searching for jeans for her, I came across a gorgeous pair of women’s jeans for myself. What can I say? I told you that I was a shopaholic! I personally love flare style jeans – something about that style takes me back to my high school days, when all we wore were flared jeans! I am on the shorter, more pear-shaped side, so the flared jeans are great for balancing out my ample back side. I was so happy when I saw that flare jeans were coming back in style!
