When Ghost Hunting Goes Wrong…

Every once in a while, I catch an episode of Ghost Hunters on the SyFy channel where they’ve actually caught some type of evidence. I have to be honest, I will stop watching for a while because I get bored with their EVPS – I want to see ghosts, dang it! It seems that lately, there aren’t very many real encounters, so I’ve had to go elsewhere for my paranormal fix.

I tried Ghost Adventures, but Zack is so freaking melodramatic that I can’t stand it. Every time anything happens, he automatically determines that it was a ghost – you know, science be damned…

And then there’s My Ghost Story. While the stories are pretty good, and even believable, the shows are all reenactments, so again, not a lot of action.

Paranormal Witness? No thank you. That show freaks me out. The ghosts are all evil on that show and I like your run of the mill, nice ghosts that don’t bother anyone.

So…I joined the Ghost Hunters/TAPS Facebook group sometime last year and every so often, someone will post a photo of something that they think contains evidence of the paranormal.

They post things just to show off what they found, or to see if anyone can tell them what they found. It’s fun to check in every now and then to see if there’s anything new and to see what people are saying.

I was browsing through the threads on Friday and read something about a mill house out in Missouri. I started Googling the name of the house and then switched over to Google Images…and that’s when I came across this ghost!

Warning: this ghost is a little mean, so don’t click over if you are easily offended. I’d say it is rated PG-13.

I laughed for probably 5 minutes about that little drawing and Chris looked at me like I had a mental disorder.

But really, when you’re Googling apparition images and ghosts caught on film, this is not what you expect to find. It cracks me up every time I look at it!

I’ve dubbed him “Jasper the unfriendly ghost.”

HA HA…That is freaking hilarious. Btw, Em & I love watching Paranormal Witness (of course, we watch during the day with on demand) it scares the crap out of us every time, but we still watch it :)

I love watching true ghost stories, too, but feel much the same way you do. This post was too funny. Thanks for sharing.
