Ever since I became a housewife last year, I’ve been taking my time cooking; I no longer just throw together whatever I have in the cabinets, I actually plan a recipe and follow the directions.

You’d be amazed at how much food tastes when it’s prepared and cooked properly. Crazy, I know.

Last week I received the Precision Set from zx kitchen, which included their 5 inch utility knife and their 3.5 inch paring knife. I have to say, I was a little taken aback by their packaging…it looks cool. Cool enough that I would have been impressed if I had received it as a gift!

I’ve never seen a ceramic knife before, so I had to do a little research to find out exactly what set these knives apart from the hodgepodge of knives in my silverware drawer at the moment.

The first thing is the obvious – they’re made of ceramic instead of stainless steal. Those cool black blades are made from zirconium oxide, one of the hardest materials on earth. Only diamonds are harder! Because they are harder than traditional steel cutlery, ceramic knives from zx kitchen™ don’t require sharpening for at least five years! They do not rust or deposit chemicals as you use them, preventing metallic taste or discoloration in food – and unlike white ceramic tools, zx kitchen’s™ black ceramic will never stain.

Another great thing about zx kitchen knives is that they are germ-resistant and non-stick so they easily wipe clean, helping you to clean up faster than with regular knives. I just love that they are germ-resistant. I am always a little worried that my knives are harboring bacteria where the blade meets the handle – where you don’t have to worry about that with zx kitchen knives!

With balanced weight and comfort grip handles, zx kitchen™ knives fit comfortably in your hand while protecting your fingers while slicing. You can see in the pic below (I was making a a skirt steak for dinner with mushrooms!) how thick the blade is – it’s definitely thicker than a normal stainless steel knife, but it’s not a cumbersome thickness.

I can’t wait to use my zx knives when I am prepping Christmas dinner! Slicing through this skirt steak with my utility knife was like cutting butter, so I can’t wait to try it out on a Christmas ham, or to use my paring knife to slice apples for an apple crisp, or to prepare any other menu items! I might even have to leave the box sitting out on my counter so everyone can take a peek!

With a stylish design, comfort grip handles, and stain-proof blades that are sharper than steel, zx kitchen™ black ceramic cutlery provides precision from start to finish for all of your holiday entertaining. You can even enter for a chance to win a free set by liking zx kitchen on Facebook!

zx kitchen™ offers five luxurious collections on zxkitchen that will arrive in elegant packaging, with prices starting at $51.00 for the precision set like I got! Oh and shipping? It’s free on all knife sets!

An added free bonus is that you kind of feel like a ninja while holding a knife with a black blade. My steak, mushrooms and green peppers never saw it coming!

Those look amazing! I would love a fancy new knife set. With all the chopping and slicing I do, those would definitely come in handy.
