I’m a dress girl. I just am! I don’t know if it’s just the heat, or the fact that I have a weird body shape for jeans, or simply that I like feeling feminine in a dress, but I love wearing dresses. 85% of my wardrobe is made up of dresses!
I recently came across Shabby Apple women’s dresses on a friend’s site and kind of fell in love. Retro, old Hollywood style glamor, soft, breathable fabrics – Shabby Apple seemed to have the perfect line of pretty dresses for me!
I fell in love with this Tiber dress from Shabby Apple and plan on wearing it to Los Angeles later this month!
The dress is gorgeous! The Shabby Apple Tiber dress is made from Cotton Poplin, 97% Cotton and 3% Spandex, which is what makes it so lightweight and breathable. This dress follows the Shabby Apple “Fits Generously Guide” which means that you should order a size down from your regular dress size. I am about 5’3″ and weigh 140 lbs and I ordered a small and it fit me almost exactly like it does the model in the photos. Though, because I am short, it does not hit me mid-knee like the descriptions says – it falls just below my knee.
The only issue with the Tiber dress is that it is white, and very lightweight – so you must wear a slip. I already owned a full slip so that was not an issue for me, but I wanted you to be aware.
I have the good fortune today to be able to to give away the Tiber dress from Shabby Apple, an online boutique of women’s dresses to one of my lucky readers!
