As the Christmas shopping season winds down, I am beginning to prepare for Valentine’s Day. While I am not really a romantic, gushy mess kind of gal, I do value the sentiment that Valentine’s Day brings.

My husband doesn’t dare not bring me flowers and a card on Valentine’s Day!

My husband travels quite frequently for work and he will actually be home for Valentine’s Day, so it has a little bit of extra special meaning for me this year. I want to do something extra special, but like most people, I don’t have a lot of spare cash laying around – especially after the holiday season! That’s where Savings.com comes in handy.

Savings.com helps you to save money every day, showcasing the best deals on all the things you want, making it easier than ever to search, find and share big savings from all your favorite brands and stores!

Savings.com has coupon codes for online stores and printable grocery coupons too, but what I am really paying attention to right now is their local section, which has plenty of special deals available to me for things to do in Miami.

What I’d love more than anything is to take a quick weekend trip with my husband for Valentine’s Day, but because my sister’s bridal shower is that weekend, that’s not an option. Too bad, because I found a few really nice hotels with special pricing through Savings.com!

Luckily, there are plenty of other options, like discounted spa packages, massages, and fancy restaurants and catamaran cruises – all at 40% to 60% off their usual prices! I dont’t know about you, but that sounds like the perfect Valentine’s Date to me – getting dolled up for a nice dinner and then taking a sunset cruise!

What are you planning for Valentine’s Day this year?

We don’t do much. I’ll make the kids a fun breakfast, and we always go out to dinner. Hubby knows not to buy me flowers as I HATE them lol.
