PromGirl.com’s The Ultimate Prom Giveaway & $50 PromGirl Gift Card

20 Flares 20 Flares ×

I know that it’s a bit early, but I’m ready to start talking about Prom season! My daughter will be attending her first prom this year – her 8th grade prom – and she and her girlfriends are already searching for dresses, shoes and accessories for the event (that is held in the middle school cafeteria, if I am not mistaken) and deciding on hair styles and make up for the big night…that is in MAY.

If you have a teenage daughter, or know any teenage girls, then you know what a big deal prom is – whether it be a little middle school prom, or the real deal for high schoolers. It is THE social event of the school year!

With that in mind, I want to share PromGirl.com with you, a fantastic online retailer for prom and special occasion dresses and is known as The Online Prom Superstore. Customers can shop 24/7 in sizes from 0 to 44, with dresses available for teens and women in every shape and size!

PromGirl just launched The Ultimate Prom Giveaway for prom 2012 in collaboration with Sephora – YAY! Sephora! This fun sweepstakes launched on January 3, 2012 and runs through April 30, 2012 with one winner chosen each month during the contest (for a total of four grand prize winners).

What exactly is The Ultimate Prom Giveaway?

Four lucky teens in the United States and their best friends will win a two day, all-expenses-paid trip to NYC to visit the PromGirl warehouse, where they will be able to pick out their prom dress from over 60,000 dresses! They will also receive a complete makeover at the new interactive Sephora store in the Meatpacking District, and get to participate in a PromGirl photo shoot at their headquarters in the world-famous Times Square. You can’t get more glamorous than that!

After the photo shoot, photos of the winners will be displayed on the massive electronic screens at 1 Times Square!

Once the lucky winners return home they will have their make-up look recreated on their actual prom day at their local Sephora with the help of a gift basket of products and a $100 Sephora gift card!

PromGirl will also provide winners with a $100 gift card to cover other prom expenses.

To enter The Ultimate Prom Giveaway, just visit PromGirl.com and fill out the entry form. Additional entries are available for participating in the contest on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube…and an extra prize will be awarded to one lucky entrant who submitted a video on YouTube explaining why they believe they should win the sweepstakes.

well… if i had ANY say so (which I really don’t, well, I do get the final say just in case it’s TOO revealing) I would want her to wear the Strapless Pleated Prom Dress by Night Moves 6237, in aqua. It’s really close to a prom dress she wanted last year, but I just couldn’t spend the $500 for her Jr. Prom. This year though, I think I will. ;)

I would let my 16 year old use the GC to pick out something for her prom! I think she would love the Animal Print Flutter Dress!

I love the Cute Short Embellished Party Dress by La Femme at PromGirl but if I win I would have to let my daughter pick the dress of course! :)

This will be my daughters first prom even though she’s been asked every year since entering HS. She is only a junior but very active in school so very popular. This would come in so handy towards a dress as they are crazy expensive, it’s almost as though a divorced or single parent would have to take out a second on the house to buy a dress and this is not even a wedding dress, lol.
