I have this thing where I obsess over television stars that get sort of lost after popular sitcoms are cancelled – like Donald Faison from Scrubs, or Kristen Johnston from Third Rock From The Sun – what happens to them? Where do they go? What do they do?
I just found out about a new television show while traveling to Niagara Falls last weekend, The Exes. It airs on TV Land and stars some of my favorite sitcoms stars, like Donald Faison, Kristen Johnston, David Alan Basche and Wayne Knight. While searching for free tv shows to download on my iPad for the flight home, I found the pilot episode – and I laughed all the way home.
Well, not the entire way home, because it was a three-hour long flight and the pilot was only 23 minutes long (YAY, no commercials!)…but you know what I mean…
The show is built around the premise that Holly, Kristen Johnson, is a divorce lawyer, AND a landlord. Each time she represents a newly divorced man, she sets him up across the hall in a sort of bachelor pad for divorced men. It’s quite funny, you wouldn’t normally think of men as the lost souls after a divorce – which is why I really like it! I can’t think of a sitcom where this story line has been done before.
The Exes premiers on TV Land on November 30th, but you can watch the trailer now!

I love him! Been a fan of his for a while. I love it when favorite actors from favorite TV Shows come back to TV! :)

I also like “Hot in Cleveland” with Betty White. She is too funny!
