Y’all know I love Jason Segel – of Freaks and Geeks, Knocked Up, HIMYM, etc – and I just had to share this with you!

At the screening of The Five-Year Engagement with Yahoo! Shine in New York, one of his biggest fans not only got to attend the screening and see Jason Segel…but she got an extra special surprise as well!

I am so jealous.

You can watch the clip below, and can check out more info about the movie on The Five-Year Engagement Facebook page!

What is The Five-Year Engagement about?

One year after Tom Solomon (played by Jason Segel) met Violet Barnes (played by Emily Blunt), he surprised her with a ring.  By all accounts, Tom and Violet are destined for their happily ever after, but career plans and non-stop comical problems manage to torpedo every “save the date.”  After five years, the lovers who once dreamed of the perfect day just want to get it over with already!   Through the humorous trials of discovering who they will become as a couple, Tom and Violet will learn if they have what it takes to survive their five-year engagement.

Sounds like a hoot, right? You should check out Tom and Violet’s Wedding Blog – it’s just as funny!

The Five-Year Engagement opens in theaters tomorrow and is rated R, so leave the kids with a sitter for this one! I am so excited to see Jason Segel on the big screen again, and if this movie is anything like Bridesmaids – it’s also from Judd Apatow, my favorite producer! – we are in for an excellent romantic comedy!
