The Hershey Company has announced S’mores as the Official Dessert of Tailgating and they couldn’t be more accurate in that description!
We all know and love the classic preparation method for S’mores – holding a marshmallow over an open campfire, sticking it between two crisp graham crackers with a sliver of Hershey’s chocolate…mmm! My mouth is watering just thinking about it! As deliciously fun as that campfire tradition may be, did you know that you don’t need a campfire to make S’mores?
Last week, for our Halloween Horror Movie Night, I decided to make S’mores for my family…but I didn’t have a campfire! What I did have was an oven, which served to create my S’mores perfectly! I used just the new “build it, wrap it, grill it”method that Hershey’s introduced me to!
The “build it, wrap it, grill it” method is just as easy it sounds. Simply assemble your S’mores how you like them, wrap them in aluminum foil and grill them for 1-2 minutes on each side over a medium hot grill until the milk chocolate and marshmallows are melted together. If you don’t have a grill handy, you can just use your oven! It works just as well!
1. Assemble big, fluffy, Kraft Jet-Puffed Marshmallows on top of sweet, Honey Maid Graham Crackers.
2. Add 3 squares of Hershey’s Chocolate.
