I love baking. I love Christmas…and I love Christmas baking!

Over the years, I have experimented with many different Christmas recipes, and many of those recipes have come from various Gooseberry Patch cookbooks. When I was received Gooseberry Patch Quick & Easy Christmas, I dug right in to see what fun new ideas I could try.

In case you aren’t familiar with Gooseberry Patch cookbooks, let me fill you in; each Gooseberry Patch cookbook is full of exciting time-tested recipes that are sent in by readers all over the country.

From breakfast to dinner, there are over 220 delicious Christmastime recipes in the Gooseberry Patch Quick and Easy Cookbook…most in 30 minutes or less! Chapters include Breakfast & Brunch, Snacks & Appetizers, Soups, Sides & Salads, Mains, and my personal favorite – Desserts! There’s even a chapter of easy slow-cooker recipes for every meal, for those of us who love using our slow cookers!

Gooseberry Patch Quick & Easy Christmas Cookbook is exclusively designed by Gooseberry Patch, is Hardcover, 224 pages long, and measures approximately 9-1/4″ x 6-1/2″. Aside from being a great addition to your own cookbook library, at only $16.95, it makes a fantastic gift!

I tried the So-Easy Caramel Rolls from page 20 for breakfast this morning…and they were so easy to make – and delicious!

So-Easy Caramel Rolls

Ingredients for 1/2 a batch – feeds 4

a stick of butter

12-1/4 jar of caramel syrup (ice cream topping)

2 canisters of crescent rolls

9×13 casserole dish

Note that I am only making 1/2 the recipe because there are only 3 of us!

Pre-heat oven to 375 and place butter in casserole dish in the oven to melt

Remove butter from oven and mix in caramel syrup until totally blended

Without unrolling the dough, remove crescent rolls from canisters and cut each roll into 6 pieces

Place all 12 chunks of dough into caramel butter mixture and put into oven

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes

Immediately invert into a serving plate

Yes, they tasted as good as they look!

  1. Teslaca says

I love Christmas cookbooks. I would use the recipes to make things for the various parties I am hosting and attending this year. Quicker to prepare dishes than the ones I usually make would be welcome.

  2. Joan says

I love cookbooks. If I won this one I would read it from cover to cover, pick out some recipes to try, make the recipes, take photos of the recipes I try and then review them on

  3. says

I adore the Gooseberry Patch cookbooks, I have the simple slow cooking and a quick and easy meals one, and they are fantastic. I would make some homecooked goodness with this cook book.
