Q: How do you keep rowdy children entertained while you prepare elaborate holiday meals or sneak off for some holiday shopping?

A: By popping in a copy of Spy Kids: All The Time in The World on Blu-ray or DVD!

Spy Kids: All The Time In The World

Spy Kids: All The Time in The World was released on Blu-ray and DVD yesterday and children couldn’t be happier! In case you aren’t familiar with the series, this is the fourth in the Spy Kids movie franchise, and – according to the children in my family – one of the best so far!

Spy Kids: All The Time In The World is now available nationwide at the suggested retail price of $39.99 for the Blu-ray™ Combo Pack, which includes a Blu-ray™, a standard DVD, a Digital Copy of the film, as well as a special bonus disc that includes a 3D Blu-ray™ version of the film, and just $29.98 for the DVD. With Black Friday right around the corner, you can be sure to find it fully stocked in all of your favorite stores! The Blu-ray™ and DVD bonus include an interview with director Robert Rodriguez,a “SpyKids Passing the Torch” featurette, a “Spy Gadgets” clip, deleted scenes and more!

If your kids are anything like the kids in my family, then you know that those special features and and deleted scenes are half the fun of getting a new movie on DVD or Blu-ray!

What makes this new Spy Kids movie so fantastic?

Here’s the basic story line of the movie:

Marissa Cortez Wilson (played by Jessica Alba) has it all: married to a famous spy-hunting television reporter Wilbur (Joel McHale), with a new baby and intelligent twin step kids, Rebecca (Rowan Blanchard) and Cecil (Mason Cook). My daughter thought that this new movie might be a bit boring because Marissa and Wilbur have settled down and are leading the American Dream…but she was pleasantly surprised at the sudden turn of events as the maniacal Timekeeper (Jeremy Piven) shatters their ho-hum life by threatening to take over the planet.

All of the excitement begins when Marissa comes out of retirement as a top secret agent.  With Armageddon quickly approaching, Rebecca and Cecil are thrust into action!  With a little help from some familiar Spy Kidsfriends, Carmen (Alexa Vega), Juni (Daryl Sabara), their faithful dog Argonaut (Ricky Gervais) and some mind-blowing gadgets, they just may be able to save the world!

The newest Spy Kids installment has everything that made the previous movies blockbuster hits with children across the country; crazy stunts, mind-blowing special effects in the action sequences, and a charming and funny story line. My daughter and nieces and nephew love the fun that the children have in this series; they get so excited about the incredible things “these lucky kids get to do!”
